Yah the DNC is a socialist organization and your boss at work just wants what’s best for you. America stands for liberty and justice and your landlord works hard to earn your income.
Give me a break!

What a dog shit situation for the people of Ohio.

I’m not accusing you of being a bot, I’m saying you’re just taking reddit posts and putting them here.

You should be keeping active yeast in the fridge, unless it’s stored in foil lined packets. Your yeast may be dead. You can test this by putting some of it in 110°F water (just over body temp, the water should feel slightly warm to the touch, if you don’t have a thermometer) along with 2 teaspoons of sugar. If it foams after ten minutes, it’s alive!! Otherwise, RIP yeast.
I’ve never seen recipes call for active yeast as a flavor component, nor French toast call for nooch, but the latter isn’t unimaginable. The former is very bizarre to me. Unless it’s used in the rising of the actual bread used for French toast. Tangentially, that should be challah, in my opinion. Stale challah makes for the best French toast.

Active yeast does not taste like nutritional yeast so you’re recipe will taste different when it’s complete. Active yeast has a sort of malty flavor to it while nutritional yeast has a flavor reminiscent of cheese, which is probably why it’s being called for in your recipe. I often see it used in vegan dairy replacements (this is where I mostly use it, with soaked blended cashews and some apple cider vinegar for a pseudo sour cream I call nooch’n’nut), but it can also just add some extra flavor complexity to any number of dishes.
I’m not sure if there’s any harm in eating active yeast, but I know it certainly won’t taste very good…

Surely a bot would be better for just copying and pasting reddit posts…

Theres been a few Chinese models I found appealing, but using a Chinese phone in the States seems like a huge hassle from what I’ve heard

You just mix this with water to get what you want. It’s much cheaper than the sugary cocktail crap that’s mostly apple juice anyway.
If it’s not sweet enough, you can add sugar.

Losing the microSD card slot has put me off of buying flagship devices.
My 6 year old phone does more than the modern ones.
I want to want a new phone. I just don’t.

I understand the urges and anger at the current system that inspire this kind of reply, but as another user pointed out, this guy, even if ostensibly on the side of the working class, is distributing misinformation.
The plight of the proletariat is dire as is, we don’t need to resort to far right tactics to prove that point and citing fake studies weakens the case for change in the eyes of people who have the media literacy to check those things.
Yo, thanks for doing the work on this. I was really curious about the sources for this, because I’d love to show it to some people I know who don’t engage in these sorts of spaces that haven’t yet woken up to the plight of the proletariat that they in fact share.
I made my comment in between waking up and getting my morning chores done, so I was hopeful someone would be able to cite the study during the work week this week as me and my coworkers gripe about rising costs, hopeful that’d shake some of them out of their rabid dedication to the messaging of the Republican party. It’s a shame it’s a farce.
I understand media literacy is on the decline, and I understand the appeal to want to say things like this because they certainly feel true, but I wasn’t alive in '71 and this sort of comparison, while poignant, requires some more study and math than I think is approachable to the average bear.
We all gotta be on the lookout for dishonest actors like this. These kind of tactics are exactly what the far right have been doing for decades to fool their base.
I think it’s irresponsible to say stuff like this without citing the study.

Isn’t this from February? This is old news unless there’s some update.

Two hundred bucks??? fuck off!

I think this might be better suited for another community, this one is exclusively for news articles.
Girl, I ate oatmeal mixed with cocoa powder for every meal I couldn’t steal a vegetable or protein while I was working 3 jobs trying to keep a 2 bedroom apartment in the ghetto with 4 other roommates while I was taking college courses. I’ll eat whatever you got.
