I definitely wasn’t that good at it, but I was just a lil kid. At the time the graphics made a big impression on me though.

Battlezone is/was awesome. I don’t remember the 1812 overture being a part of it tho…
All you need is a whiff.

Krull is SO CLOSE to being an awesome movie, it’s worthwhile to watch it and see what went wrong.

And the berserkers with the helmets. There was a lot of messed up stuff in there, even if it wasn’t polished, it was memorable.
Plus… John Amos from Good Times!

Looks memorable. Unfortunately I’m traveling and not sure I’m able to watch it (or Remonsterdon).
No way, Pluto has unlockable ads.
Tubi and Fawesome’s ads are blocked with UBlock Origin on Firefox.

Chinese Connection is a classic. Several iconic scenes.
ikr the worker is literally showing empathy. Personally I wouldn’t even have answered the text unless I needed the money.
I think you can save this with: “I only remember how I felt, which was (and here you put your sweetest lines, you know, the ones you’ve been saving for an occassion like this.)”

Fuckin Excellent.
Hi my name is Sergio and I laugh like this: “huh huh HA HO huh…” Next?

“Not to many people are fans of this kind of music”
I… I know, but… you didn’t have to say it like that… WEEP

I think you have to do it like this for him to see: @klu9@piefed.social

I always thought of this as being a community for “free full movies on a legitimate site that’s not focused on films.”
Places like youtube, dailymotion, vimeo, wikimedia, and archive are legitimate sites. Sometimes movies are posted for free there by the copyright owners, or sometimes the movies are public domain, sometimes the movies’ rights are abandoned, sometimes a rando posts them and the copyright owner claims the monetization but lets them stay up, and sometimes the movie is only up for a while til the copyright owner claims them and gets them taken down. In this community, the fun part is finding these hidden gems and posting them here.

I don’t remember much about this one, other than it’s pretty cheesy but also pretty entertaining.

You should contact some of those researchers. There’s only a couple hundred people with this characteristic, they might have a survey or interview for you. It’s a pretty interesting cognitive ability to study, it’ll probably lead to some insights into human cognition in general.

I was thinking it’s kind of like an AI “hallucination”. It’s a plausible (but not necessarily accurate) representation of what happened. I wonder in what ways those memories change over time.
“Don’t let the perfect be the enemy of the good” had the same effect on me.
