Before signing up for campus housing

Apply and be admitted to Wayne State University before signing up for campus housing.
Verify your Wayne State email account and password. Your Wayne State email is the official means of communication. Set it up and check it daily for important university and housing updates.
Explore your campus living options and costs for transfer students to determine your living and dining preferences.
Carefully review the Housing License Agreement Terms (HLA). When you sign up for housing, you are signing a legally binding agreement with Wayne State University. It is important that you review all the information, dates, deadlines and policies outlined in the license agreement you sign. If a student signs the HLA terms while still under the age of 18, the student’s listed parent/guardian will also need to review, agree to and sign the license agreement. A housing license agreement is not complete until the student’s parent/guardian completes their portion.
Review your Warrior Eats meal plan options. Whether you desire plant-based or protein-packed meals, we’ve got you covered.
Decide if you would like to participate in a Residential Learning Community (RLC). Students are encouraged to explore RLCs prior to completing the HLA. Joining an RLC determines where you will live on campus.
Please note that a non-refundable $125 processing fee is required at the time of submission of your agreement.
