My experience sitting on a joint health and safety committee, is that most workplace accidents happen because too much work is given to too few workers, causing them to try to work faster which causes errors and mistakes.

Also the retail space has horrendously ergonomics which see, backs, arms, shoulders and feet frequently being hurt due to RSI (repetitive strain injuries). I can request company research to attempt to mitigate poor ergonomic practices, but they aren't going to mandate all shipping boxes come with handles, or in liftable weights. And they certainly will not provide extra employees to help unload and sort through large merchandising shipments.

We're at the point where I don't think even if they replaced us with robots that it would work, because if they treat robots like this they'll all be broken in 6 months due to poor treatment and bad maintenance practices and then be spending a fortune to replace them. Much cheaper to just have human workers break and then discard them.

Very impressive, I'm still working on getting all the classes to a10, only beat a10 with the silent and that took me super long to manage probably over twenty attempts, although near the end I was getting to the act 3 bosses fairly reliably.

Only ever saw the original endings. Couldn't care enough to replay after that. Anything other than destroy didnt make alot of sense to me. Control just makes you the big bad for a later game. And synthesis feels like they wanted everyone to have a feel good option that doesn't actually make any sense.

Also, I hate games where the ending is simply a choice at the end. The ending should be given to you based on the choices you have already made!

Everspace 2 mostly, it's hard to believe there was a time when space shooter was a full genre in PC gaming, and it just melted away.

Anyway the game is fun, you fly around and shoot things, there's a story that seems mostly harmless. Not good, but it's mostly out of the way so you can explore the sectors and slowly level up while working toward buying a new ship. It's like a Diablo mixed with a freespace. There's not a huge variety of gear, probably like twelve guns, and 10 missiles. There is some fun gadget abilities to find that give you some neat abilities, like healing or pulling enemies together. Each ship has a unique super move too which is fun.

Mostly just killing time. I finished disco Elysium a few weeks back and that was amazing. I'm trying to build up the energy to commit to another rpg but it's hard to focus that much.

I just hit 40 and while it's not normal or typical, I've had the worst year of my life. More and more chronic pain. I work a physical job so its not because of sedentary lifestyle either. My stomach has basically collapsed (constant daily pain that my doctor doesnt know how to treat and referrals to gastro specialists refuse to see me) my food options are extremely limited and thinking about eating depresses me horribly; my feet and legs are sore after a single shift when I could go a day or two before they ached. My shoulders ache every morning, my back is sore constantly. I spend about an hour every day stretching to make things manageable and keep the pain at bay, but sometimes something gives and I'm in horrible pain for about a month while it slowly heals (this is often complicated because I have to keep working while in recovery which likely slows it down or outright prevents proper healing).

I don't know how I'm expected to keep this up for another 30 years. I have a family history of many cancers as well, so I'm sure I'll catch one of those shortly, my eyesight has never been good. And if I'm lucky I might get rheumatoid arthritis from my mom which would basically make work impossible. My mantra these days is to simply try and take it one day at time. Because thinking about the future makes me feel bad.

Meat it's not on the menu for very long it seems.
