I love agriculture, despite the issues or maybe better said because of the issues. Cause there is a lot of unique challenges to face. But of course in the West its all "just make more. No analyze. Just more" and now our insects are gone.

Its so weird like, we kept getting firming beds thinking it would help my back. But turns out it was my hip radiating to my lower back and whatever joint thing I have is fucking Goldilocks and needs a mix of firm and soft or my circulation is cut off and my hip gets worse.

Oh for sure. But those paradigm are based on things that were mostly develop under capitalism. Everything for the industrial revolution and chemical day and age has mostly been under a frame work of what you are saying. But from a lens that doesn't really take into account the greater picture. (You can't grow on land that is uninhabitable and if we are all dead etc)
I think China has the best chance to break through this and figure this out as a whole. That there is a balance to be had between yields and environmental efforts.
Not that I know more then a country of people of course. But agriculture does tend to get behind on things because people in general have a very bad tendencies for not seeing the pollinator through the pest in a manner of speaking. But I think they as a society are set up materially to care about this sort of thing sooner rather then later.
