Inline include autocomplete

Is there any way to enable an inline autocomplete (like in other editors, where includes are listed in the autocomplete dropdown menu) instead of the panel that opens up in the top centre?

This would require a significant rewrite of the plugin and I do not actively maintain the plugin anymore unfortunately. So unfortunately the answer is no unless somebody takes it upon themselves to implement this.
