#112 — PRD: macOS Desktop Client (Electron, Intel x64 v1)

What to build

Ship the v1 internal distribution vertical slice: bundle pinned Node 20 for macOS x64 with the standalone Next artifact inside the Desktop Client, produce an unsigned .dmg, and add CI on an Intel macOS runner that uploads the artifact.

Include release documentation: Gatekeeper bypass for unsigned builds, Rosetta note for Apple Silicon users, manual update process (no auto-updater in v1).

Open or link a GitHub Discussion per upstream contributing policy before merge.

Acceptance criteria

• Repeatable build script produces macOS x64 .app + .dmg without requiring end-user Node or pnpm
• Bundled Node 20 + standalone Next + Skill assets included in the app bundle
• Application icon and bundle identifier set
• CI job on Intel macOS runner builds artifact and uploads it for internal QA
• Release doc covers unsigned Gatekeeper steps and Intel-first / Rosetta expectations
• GitHub Discussion opened (or linked) for Desktop Client long-running-process policy alignment
