I work on backend systems that have outgrown their original shape.
I'm a Software engineer with a long background in building and evolving systems in fintech, banking, and B2B environments — especially when early architectural decisions start creating friction in delivery or scale.
I stay hands-on where it matters (design, reviews, critical paths), but I care more about system structure, boundaries, and long-term evolution than volume-driven coding.
Most of my work sits at the intersection of:
- system design and architecture
- real operational constraints
- small-to-medium teams that need to move without breaking things
- Backend and platform architecture
- System evolution (monolith → modular → services, when needed)
- Integration-heavy systems (payments, trading, workflows)
- Technical decision-making under real business constraints
- Frontend: good UX sense to work with designer.
Golang · TypeScript / Node.js · Java · SQL
(Chosen based on context, not preference.)
- Fintech & banking platforms (payments, lending, onboarding)
- OTA Travel tech (airline & hotel)
- Retails system & ecom.
- Various digital solutions, B2B and internal platforms supporting real operations
I'm based in Calgary, Canada.
I tend to work best in roles with clear ownership, trust, and room for technical judgment.
I help companies build new technology capabilities. Over time, I found myself being asked to help launch new products, support business initiatives, and grow engineering teams.
What I enjoy most is working at the intersection of technology, product development and business strategy—helping organizations turn ideas into products, teams and operational capabilities
