Device: Lenovo Yoga Pro 9 14IRP8 (83BU)
Subsystem ID: 17aa:38be (ALC287)
Arch Linux with Cachy OS Kernel

Steps:

  • Downloaded Realtek audio driver .exe from Lenovo support page
  • Extracted with innoextract → found DAX3 XML at Source/4DAX/.../DEV_0287_SUBSYS_17AA38BE_PCI_SUBSYS_380217AA.xml
  • Ran python3 dolby_to_easyeffects.py --all-profiles --autoload
  • All profiles generated successfully, autoload configured for sof-hda-dsp Speaker

Result: Works perfectly. Sound matches Dolby Atmos quality under Windows.

Note: Bass speakers required Speaker Force Firmware Load ALSA control set to on at boot (TAS2781 firmware doesn't auto-load). Fixed with a systemd oneshot service running amixer -c sofhdadsp cset numid=3 on.
