You call labels like Monstercat underground?
Damn, okay buddy.
Like yeah, mainstream artists are less likely to publish there but established artists have published songs on it.
Usually a lurker.
Maybe I should’ve just shut up and thought for a bit longer before writing that comment…
If you want to talk to me elsewhere, you know how to reach me.

Bandcamp? Pretty much 100% (excluding deals with a label)
Any other CD label? I don’t care what the artist negotiated with their label. That is their own problem who they chose to do business with. But Spotify/Apple can’t skim of 30% of the sale price.
And I don’t buy on iTunes.
I buy on OTOTOY and other sites I can get FLAC files from.

They pay less in converted money.
But their salary is also 10x less vs yours.
Do they not deserve the distraction?

Oh great, 0.25 instead of a 0.1 cent per listen what a great payout.
Yeah, I’ll continue buying the CDs/individual songs (assuming they make it not too annoying)

Option A: Pool your subscription in a family plan with others already using it anyway. The resulting share is far lower than the single subscription
Option B: Rip CDs and/or put on the pirate hat

In OPs example they don’t have that already because whipping out a phone is very easy to do (just not before the situation happened).
And if you arent anymore, you have two options to the experience:
A: A quick end
B: A long painful end

For example, why Jellyfin over any of the *arrs
Don’t take it the wrong way, the *arrs are an awesome ecosystem and tool. Very cool integration and administration.
But I could life without or replace them. Things like Jellyfin, immich, homeassistant are more integral in the sense of usage and replacing them would be a whole ordeal I would ideally like to avoid.

Kind of.
To me they are more like accessories and not services I interact with (interact like homeassistant, immich, jellyfin).
Services like Traefik/Authelia are infrastructure. Needed but not required.
They are like a road. Nice to have and receive a smooth ride but driving on the bare ground is possible but uncomfortable ;)

Immich
Jellyfin
HomeAssistant
Dawarich
HortusFox
In that order.
Things like the *arrs, traefik/authelia, etc. are just a necessity and not something that gives back like the 5 mentioned at first.

Not if they can harvest your precious data.
Because it might be pre-seasoned lol.
Just lower your temps so it doesnt bubble as much?
What psychopath doesnt salt their pasta.
Afraid of a little NaCl?
Mhmmm…Splätzle clumps :p
Ngl, they are the best feature of doing them yourself.

It’s not disgraceful. It’s criminal,

Doesnt deny my claim and isnt helping yours.

Renting a seedbox, syncing back to home with resilio
Proof for that allegation?
Either I cant calculate or the percentages don’t add up.
What is up wuth the two 100%?
