    Of course rent control doesn’t work when all your rental units are built with private funding.

    Public housing works quite well with rent control. Taxpayer funded housing - not private or private-public cooperatives that require dangling subsidies or the promise of future profits in front of the would-be developers

    No one should be getting wealthy off of housing yet here we are.

      While I won’t weigh if rent control works or not, all the voices against the measure are from realtors and rental companies, so, I honestly don’t think is that bad of a decision based on that fact alone.
