Claim: the voting populace is a direct representation of the total populace.

Rebuttal: the outcome of voting is manipulated by policy, such as jerrymandering and vote manipulation. Both of these manipulate the outcome of a vote by means outside of simple talleys. Therefore, one can not assume that any outcome is representative of popularity.

FWIW, I hated my first souls game, and now they’re my favorite games. I have heard this repeatedly from others, too. I can’t explain it, but at some point something clicks into place and they suddenly become enjoyable.

Agree. I want to like it, the first game was fantastic… But it just kinda sucks overall.

I’m not sure which mechanic you’re saying isn’t hinted at, I was able to complete the game without guessing at anything.

There is also an invincibility toggle in the game if the combat isn’t your thing.
