Hahaha that’s pretty funny. Everyone knows birds aren’t real.

92·4 days agoSomewhat unrelated but a mod recently removed one of my posts that was apparently an AI generated meme. Good!
That’s not sarcasm. I posted it because it was funny and it passed my own slop filter (aka brain) and I’d rather it removed. Honestly, my bad for posting the crap! I only wish AI trash weren’t so prevalent.

Games@sh.itjust.works•What's the rarest Steam achievement you got?English
2·7 days ago0.2% and still not the rarest achievement in the game!

Oh… oh, no!!

I’ve seen enough Iseki to know that I need to die and be spotted by the right god/otherworldy-being.
Someone should write a thesis on it (or whatever it’s called). Could call it something like The Relativity Theory.
I feel like making a joke about the eggs wanting to be treated like royalty and the rest of the produce voting them to that position against they’re self interest. But I can’t quite crack the right wording.
Ah, you see it’s easy! 10°C is 70°F in Canada and 30°C is 35°F in Australia. Fahrenheit is based upon comfortable temperature and since that differs by person and population the amount differs too!
Celsius is just boring old math though. Kind of like metric measurements. Everything devisable by 1000? Pffft, boooring! Give me my 600 feet to the mile and 8-1/2 football fields to league like a truely patriotic measuring system! Did I mention I actually prefer needing a lookup table to figure out unit conversions.

3·9 days agoSeems like most people forgot Musk is a nazi already.
A realisation I’ve had is that if everyone from this era went back in time to the 1930’s there’d be a lot of investing into the Nazi stock market for those stonks!
Genocide, war crimes and general harm towards humanity don’t mean much to a lot of people when personal gains or convenience are available.

memes@lemmy.world•It’s become a guessing game, whether someone’s just quoting AI verbatim these days.English
5·10 days agoAn example from my day job which I’ve been doing for almost 20 years.
A customer, while looking at his phone, said what I was telling him was wrong with 100% confidence. The trick is he was looking at the same thing (in the catalogue) I was, which had the real answer. He was literally denying reality and it confused me at the time. I only realised afterwards he was reading off the AI results as if the AI was all knowing and had the true answer.
Jokes on you, I bought my fridge from LG.
Unrelated, but does anyone know how to stop my A/C from beeping out morse code adverts for McAfee?
Having that many comments and avoiding the list be like:

17·10 days agoThat’s kinda disturbing, not gonna lie.
I was 30 before I realized hunger and thirst feel the same for me.
I relate. The amount of times I’ve said “am I hungry or thirsty?… hmm, don’t know.” And then done nothing about either one.
A bit disappointed that I didn’t make the cut tbh.

Damn right! And don’t you forget it!
