One of my dogs was on the streets for at least a year. He eats crazy fast and he doesn’t care what it tastes like.

Afaik they have -as a breed - a lot of genetic defects through inbreeding. I would love to have cats like these, but i would never want to encourage breeders by buying them

10·4 个月前The older i got, the happier i became. Despite physical aches and decline. Mentally, i’m much stronger now. And i don’t care should people not really like me, or have whatever opinions about me. Also, being kind to others makes you happier.
Yes, i see them frequently. Planes often have blinking lights and fly lower. And shooting stars are already gone in the blink of an eye. Also, i have an app -Stellarium - that, if in doubt, shows whether they’re satellites.
Probably nine or so. I go to bed early and get up reasonably early too. As a morning person, and with chronic pain, this seems to work for me.

2·4 个月前Papyrus on my android. It’s not even in the playstore anymore, but i keep -and backup- apk’s. It’s just the simplest notes app, without any markup. It saves as simple text files.
I just open it, jot something down, and leave it. Saves automatically. It might be way more than 10 years even, 15 plus years?

Not funky, but interesting articles, also for non-sciency people
That’s interesting, thanks for sharing!
Yes, according to vets and avian specialists, they pose a significant danger for birds. Personally, i wouldn’t risk it. Birds are very sensitive to polluted air, way more than humans are.
However, if you have pet birds and you would light a scented candle, or burn a non stick pot, these poisonous substances will affect them so much harder than for humans, often with deadly consequences
A little courage goes a long way
I do love the apt ‘rich beyond conscience’, whoever wrote the quote

When i give something, i give wholeheartedly. They can do whatever they want with it; keep it, sell it, throw it in the trash, give it away, or recycle it. Otherwise i would feel like i gave them something with some restrictions attached. I will also never check what they did with it. I gave them something because i wanted to give them something. It’s nice if they like it, but it’s not an obligation to appreciate it.
