That’s why he signed up for .ML lol

So are we the only 2 people allowed to criticize others? Or only me? lmao
If you’re as serious about raising hundreds of thousands of armed commies(lmfao) as I am than perhaps you’ll accept my criticism and go easier on that no true scottsman fallacy.

Unfortunately, gambling is the only way many rich people can enjoy life. As such it pumps exorbitant amounts of money into blood sports like boxing and animal racing. Stuff where the odds are close but the outcome is unpredictable, cuz really they just want to see the monkey dance.
Opening it up to us is just to grease the wheels.
Lotteries used to be illegal in Canada. I shudder to think at how much my mother has spent on 6 fucking 49 over the course of my life.

Not that a national bank is any worthier, but they do tend to have a better app, browser, and trading interface.

Wealthsimple/etc all exist to create exit liquidity for the hedge fund managers who have been doing automated trading long before ‘AI’.

Acolyte isn’t star wars. It’s a fan fic with a budget.

Just a few rogue apples

Didn’t enjoy cyberpunk either. Just not my genre.
I don’t get sucked into video game characters or stories like in movies.
Last of Us was about Splinter Celling zombies afaic

200 grocery bill, that worker definitely would have made $20 in that few minute interaction.
So the fact that the store would lose more money to the 10% discount is what incentivizes them to use cashiers.
All y’all tripping over making these 2 numbers equivalent are missing the point entirely.

Never got into Deus Ex. Fallout on the other hand.

Make sure you’re appealing to your audience correctly. Typically people lean too far into one (Ethos, Pathos, Logos)
Easiest example is not overloading what you’re saying with the (logos) subject matter / details when your audience is not detail oriented.
Another is the classic “trust me bro” when the audience doesn’t know or trust the speaker. Invert that you have cult leaders whose audience trusts them absolutely.
Third example is someone who overloads emotional appeals to the point that the actual message is lost, misunderstood, or disregarded entirely.

Quigon was one of the few “prophecy” enthusiasts. The closest to his disposition was arguably his former master, Dooku.
Obiwan trained Anakin because it’s what Quigon wanted. And nobody could tell him otherwise because he was the first jedi to face a sith in millenia. Even YODA had never fought a sith lord at that point.
So ya even tho Obiwan’s emotional attachment to quigon was clearly what drove him to defy the council if need be, there wasn’t much they could do because Obiwan was galactically viral at the time.
Problem is money isn’t real. The assets they are building are though.
