Agreed and I’d make an argument that Nintendo could change this in a heart beat. Switch 2 lite mini would go a long way. Even the Switch 1 lite only half way does the job. Much smaller but you lose some game operability and still kind of to big. I’d love a clamshell NS 2 with an 6.7 inch screen.
I think the audience is far to small and likely the chipset changes from the existing structure might be to costly … if possible at all …
But this one particular idiot (me) on Lemmy can dream…

I read this as AI enthusiasts had an AI hack their computer for them. Not that the enthusiast did much of anything …

Nostr is a sesspool of grifters and bots. Nothing good will come out of this …

Besides Dark Souls and Gran Turismo name a Sony ps5 “exclusive” that didn’t come to the ps5 up to this year ?

Funny I just use Steam …

Probably Ocarina of Time. It left an indentation in my side of the cartridge. I guess I should have moved it before laying down …

Do you run both Reddit accounts ?

Doing some more digging some serious redflags are coming up. Several different accounts on Reddit are all claiming to have invented or be working on Neosearch. From what I can see it’s run by one person on Gitlab with no other contributors. Even more odd all the accounts across all platforms are brand new. The ones one Reddit are marked “18 and up only “ content.
Something really phishy is going on. And it’s a shame because the sites leave nothing that I can see uBlock origin is detecting. Which normally to me would be a wonderful thing
Until more information can be surfaced or explained I’d highly suggest ignoring this …

I keep using the search I am impressed it’s so good I am slightly skeptical about tracking.
This will be my daily driver I think …

Im no expert. But I believe there can be a difference between running a proprietary algorithm and using an external LLM for your indexing.

I like the idea but it suffers the same issue I see on a lot of engines like this. The results are just a bit too busy. It do a lot for readability to break up the search segments into different sized text.
I’d also on mobile ensure the search bar has some pill outline around it. It took me to long to figure out how to search

Every major search engine is using it even Kagi. It’s going to be hard to avoid
Props for the desire here but I don’t think think this is the best audience for this. And yeah I’d agree it take more than a timed protest. Need to be full stop and it need to be everyone. It needs to scare the investors who cares about no one but themselves

I grew up on the streets so I know what you are going through

I wouldn’t go so far to say people are tired of open worlds they are tired of established and in many cases poorly designed open world experiences.
If an open world was done with far less busy work and well developed and rewarding progression from exploring I’d be very open to it. But most aren’t interesting most are kind of just tacked on and create busy work.
Personally I’m very much in favor of a curated well executed linear game and story. And I think we need more of them. But if someone comes along with something special I’m all ears.
I haven’t played this remake yet so I can’t speak to its execution. But I know far too many others have had pitfalls. Looking at you Retro studios …

Every game I ran on my pc in 2003 ran poorly. All I could afford was a potato

I have my theory this is planned from before the games released …
I know people who would pay a full 60 dollars for a game on Steam they could get for free on the Epic Store. I’ve seen people do it out of spite the very week a game was free on Epic. I would not be shocked to see this sell out.
Steam is kind of a cult …
