Just of note, there are already many Google Find My devices (Chipolo, Pebblebee, Motorola), most of which don’t really perform all that well as the network isn’t that well developed. Being branded under the “Pixel” brand, no doubt it will have a steep price tag. The big G won’t make it work any better, what’s the point?
I don’t have high hopes for this device. Looks big and chunky. And the price I bet will be steep. I hope they prove me wrong.
And Google is definitely going to use it to do more things than the ones you want it for.
And then after 2 years they will no longer support it.
