Not all, only those where you behave like a rude comment gremlin. But looking over your comment history I see that you consider it normal to call other people morons off hand, so you likely fall into the terminally online category with whom it’s impossible to have a conversation. So uhhh get ratioed, seek grass etc etc, I am not feeding you further.

1·1 day agoI actually like that I have to be a bit careful, as you can’t just tank a bunch of hits and you’re a bit slow. Soulslike is a close comparison, I guess. My main annoyance is that I can’t seem to get the parry timing, even though the devs said they are pretty generous - it just feels wrong no matter when I try to parry, and when it does work there’s almost no visual/audial feedback, I notice that I managed to parry only because my stamina bar is refilled.
- I see, sorry for mistaking you for a reasonable person.
- No need to be combative.
- It is better to use open models.
I’m not exactly on board with needing an account with a search engine. That makes it super easy to track you.

they have a built in AI despite calling themselves “human-focussed”
Because it’s a tool that can serve humans. Not strictly search-related, but their AI-based translation tool is genuinely great and very useful to me.
https://help.kagi.com/kagi/why-kagi/ai-philosophy.html
You don’t have to use built-in AI, it only triggers when you explicitly ask for it and you can completely disable it in the settings.
They also have anti-slop filters, BTW: https://help.kagi.com/kagi/features/slopstop.html
Finally, not sure what models the search summarizer and the translation tool use, but the assistant lets you use open weights model like Kimi, GLM, DeepSeek et al.
I also haven’t really tried, looks intimidating, but my friend swears by it. Apparently at some point you just “see the matrix” and kill everyone with the durian fruit in 10 seconds
I pay for Kagi. The results are good oob and you can downrank/ban websites.
In case you slept on it: Thronebreaker is a great standalone Gwent-based RPG
There’s also Freelancer, the roguelike mode. My friend plays this exclusively, she has like 500 hours in it alone, probably more

5·3 days agoGoing through the ACE team catalog, this time I’m playing Clash: Artifacts of Chaos. It’s a spinoff of Zeno Clash series, but in third person. As always with the ACE team the world is beautiful and weird. Plays nice enough too, liking it so far
I’m saving all these as bookmarks but I swear I’m gonna go through them at some point

14·10 days agoOf course the “former Valve writer” is Chet Faliszek. The dude never shuts up.

Games@lemmy.world•Only 7 PlayStation games have sold over 100,000 physical copies in the US this year, says analyst, as commenters demand discs without buying themEnglish
10·11 days agoYeah, it almost like - get this - it’s almost like people who want physical media want it in part because it’s possible to buy it second hand for a cheaper price, or rent it from a library, or borrow it from a friend. Shocking stuff
what in the seven hells of ai psychosis did I just read
or, rather, did not read, because it’s an impenetrable wall of terminally online writing style with no filter
did he send buttplug pics tho
