Fredrik Torstensson is the Chief Partner Business Officer at F‑Secure with 25+ years of success in driving exponential growth, building high-performing teams, and elevating market positioning across the wireless telecommunications, cyber security, consumer electronics, and software industries. He is experienced in both start-up and corporate environments, with a record of transforming organizations through strategic acquisitions, innovative go-to-market strategies, and customer-centered sales approaches. Passionate about people and numbers, he navigates complex international markets and builds sustainable relationships with clients and partners.
SVP, Product Engagement
With over two decades in tech and the last 18 years at F‑Secure, Dmitri has developed partnerships with service providers, network hardware manufacturers, and Wi‑Fi ecosystem players. He has consulted top service providers on new ways to protect their customers from security threats while driving new products from inception to successful market launches. As SVP of Product Engagement at F‑Secure, he has developed the widest SDK and API portfolio of scam protection and other consumer cyber security components for service providers so they can easily bring cyber security functionalities into their existing applications. Dmitri frequently speaks at industry events like the Mobile World Congress, Broadband Forum, and Global Anti-Scam Alliance.

Dr. James is an adaptable engineering leader, building practical and innovative internet tech systems and organisations in diverse contexts. She specialises in exploring novel ideas and working with complex technologies and systems, in multidisciplinary teams, and has created and shipped high tech hardware and software products in commercial startups and nonprofits. She has also worked in research, including at the University of Cambridge, around trustworthy technologies and responsible machine learning.

Kankaala has been in the industry for almost ten years, and her background lies in offensive security (white hacking). Featuring as a professional hacker on Team Whack — a TV series for Finnish Broadcasting Company YLE that demonstrates how everything is hackable — Kankaala is well-versed in helping consumers understand cyber security, removing the jargon and simplifying the issue, something she is passionate about.
Principal Threat Intelligence Researcher
Dr. Megan Squire is a researcher in cyber threat intelligence at F‑Secure. She is the author of two books on data cleaning and data mining, and over 40 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters, including several Best Paper awards for her work tracking illicit financing and threat actor networks. Her research has been featured in WIRED, The New York Times, the BBC, PBS-Frontline, and hundreds of other media outlets.

With 28 years’ experience in technology, the last 15 of which in cyber security, Tom Gaffney is passionate about online privacy and security. Partnering with some of the world’s leading telecommunication providers to deliver safe online experiences, he has dedicated his career to educating people on the privacy issues surrounding digital services and teaching users how to interact digitally in the most secure way.

Bill Lott is a product marketing leader with a proven record in launching innovative tech solutions. He played key roles in launching groundbreaking new internet advertising products at AT&T, pioneering internet bill delivery at First Data’s joint venture with Microsoft, and building Cox Homelife, a smart home security service from Cox Communications. Now, he leads the go-to-market strategy for F‑Secure’s industry-leading embedded security portfolio, driving its success in the cyber security market.

Calvin has been in the cyber security industry for over 15 years. He follows the scam threat landscape and drives the protection roadmap of F‑Secure products and services in order to protect the digital moments of millions of consumers. He was previously a threat researcher, security vulnerability researcher and has frequent engagement in external presentations and publications.

With nearly two decades in the tech industry and over 15 years at F‑Secure, Sarogini has specialized in various areas before becoming a Web Analyst. She has extensive experience in URL analysis and excels in developing not only threat detection but also comprehensive web content coverage. She plays a key role in shaping the backend platform to support researchers effectively, contributing her expertise to ensure its development aligns with their needs. Currently, she leads a team of researchers with the vision of establishing F-Secure as the number #1 thought leader in Scam Protection.
Threat Advisor
Joel Latto is a Threat Advisor at F‑Secure with over a decade of experience in cyber security, specializing in online scams, cyber crime, digital privacy, and the tactics criminals use to deceive consumers. He investigates how scammers exploit social media platforms, evade countermeasures, and manipulate trust, attention, fear, and convenience through phishing, fraud, impersonation, and misinformation. He translates threat research into clear, practical advice that helps people recognize online risks and protect themselves in everyday digital life.
