I’ve never gone but a YouTuber called Miles In Transit did a trip there using public transport and I thought he documented it pretty well

I think it was two nights I stayed, when I went, around 11 years ago. It was pretty much what you’d expect out of a very quaint maritime island town, with European/French influence. Everything was in Euros, French language, culturally French (in contrast to Quebecois French). A little bit more English because of the tourism aspect. Very rainy and dreary on the day I arrived (the pontoon boat ride over was also quite rough; be wary if you’re easily seasick). Next day was gorgeous, and we did a bus tour around the island, tour gide talked a little bit about the geography and history of the island(s). IIRC Miquelon is very sparsely populated so it’s mostly just St. Pierre.

Nothing life changing, but worth visiting if you’re close enough I’d say
