Interesting concept but the text is totally not optimized for Android scaling. It was also just really confusing how to even understand what the results of your different hands would be; for example, I reached a 4OAK + flush but that didn't change the damage I was going to do to the boss.
I also didn't understand why just moving from +1 to +2 or whatever would be considered an "upgrade" as opposed to a waste of coins unless one has duplicate chips. I feel like the tutorial should make this clearer, as well as each suit power.
It was also odd that the first treasure chest of 3 that I opened ended up being a mimic, but I didn't actually fight it; the screen just blacked out and returned to the map. Is that intentional?
Lastly, the gold pouch icon on the map was really misleading; I thought it was money, not a store! So I ended up going to a store without sufficient money to buy anything.
i like this game! however, i couldn't figure out how to use items such as mirrors or duality. Also, since my account is in german, the game was in german, and "flush" was translated to "spülen" even tho "royal flush" stayed "royal flush". It's not really annoying or anything, i just wanted to point this out!
Hi, cool concept. I found myself relaunching it a few times so I definitely enjoyed it.
Couple of things though:
- There is a bug if you have the second chance trinket. Context, I put in some of my coins on the board, and then did the reroll. I thought it would reroll only the coins in hand, but instead it just crashed. I can't see the board anymore or make any actions.
- When choosing a new trinket, I was not always able to see the description of my current trinkets. I picked kind of blindly at times because of that.

If you added the ability to add/remove cards from the deck it could improve the feeling of randomness of the game and make each run feel different

4. Also, the game lets you "upgrade" the convertor cards, but when you do nothing happens and you've just wasted your money
5. The combine 3 chips into one sometimes gets you something, sometimes it doesn't. I guess it depends on what kind of chips you are trying to convert? But it's not obvious

yeah I’m in the same boat but this looks good. Needs some polish for the final product, but the gameplay loop is there imo.
I played it 3 times lol
Did find a glitch with the "sacrifice" relic. It kept triggering +2 multiple times when I moved chips around. Was able to exploit to get a five of a kind. I noticed it only triggered if there were 3 of the same suit (if 4, nothing happened).
Tried to post a screenshot but wouldn't work. I had sacrifice and singularity as my relics when it started happening.

Had a great time with my first run. I love the Spades mechanic as it had me thinking how to survive harder fights without losing too much health. I haven't played more than 1 game so I may have missed it, but could definitely use an "apply to all" chip or relic. Maybe a relic that allows for rollover (A->2 or 2->A). These are not needed just thoughts. Thanks for making it.

Is it a balance choice not to have Aces wrap around? Seems odd that I can't -1 on a 2 or +1 on an Ace.
It seems more logical to me. But there are relics in the game that allow you to do this :)
Relics keep on shrinking.
sometimes when you buy relics from the shop, you get a different relic instead

Excuse me, but is anything in this game AI? I got suspicious of the icon, and looking at the screenshots, I'm afraid that at least some of the sprites are AI as well.
There is nothing in the game that was created using AI. Everything was drawn by an artist :)

Amazing game, did find a bug tho. If you have a chip in your hand and you right click a chip off of the chip slot. It freezes the chip your holding in mid air. you can't retrieve it back and it still count towards chips used. also it stays there all game. here's a pic.

Really cool idea! The tutorial was helpful because I kept clicking on the chips instead of dragging them and didn't understand that it was like a poker game before I did the tutorial. Nice animations and VFX. Plays really smoothly.
