The Smiths/Vancouver

We bombed out after the wedding Saturday night and drove forever to Vancouver, WA right next to Portland where we stayed with our friends the Smiths. We haven't seen them since they left Reno a year ago and we missed them. We had so much fun with them even though Bryson was not feeling good. They took us to some cool, beautiful, green places. Kinda felt like somewhere tropical at times.

Sweet Kai. Well, mostly : ) Finally someone to give Hud a piece of his own pie.
Whitni and baby Karsten

Matt had this "awesome" creek to take us to in Portland. We had to razz him a lot because when we got there it was more like a puddle.
And not exactly stroller friendly
We didn't see water but we did see some owls roosting
See, isn't it green and gorgeous?

I'm in LOVE . . .

with Spokane. Seriously. . . I would move there in a heartbeat.

Loved the indoor pool and hot-tub, loved the view from Uncle Mike's living room, loved hanging out with Lanae and Orlo (now we can go stay with them in New Zealand), and when you play hard you crash hard (that was Scott's idea to put the cup there and make Hudson look like a drunk =)
A little game of soccer with all the cousins and kids

All of us were in one house with all these kids and it was awesome

Lanae, Aunt Nancy, Carly, Angie

The photographer just loved my dress so she kept having me get in the pics

At the temple--we didn't take any kids, don't we look relaxed?! A little windy at the top of the mountain overlooking the lake

My kids were so exhausted they would fall asleep the second we got in the car. BTW that's not Huds paci, Angie and darling Katelyn with her huge blue flower in her hair.

They had a chocolate fountain... need I say more. Brynn. Cade showing off his broken arm

Mike and Nancy and all their kids

Grandma Gay and half of her posterity
Poor little Bryson came down with a fever and could barely move, he kept falling asleep everywhere and Hudson was very worried about him. This was Saturday and now its Wednesday and the fever is still here. Poor Bryson.

Big Bend

After Tahoe and the blessing and baptism I brought my neice Jacqui home with me for the week. She was a huge help and has become the current favorite cousin. I met Michele in the middle yesterday at a place called Big Bend. The hike was pretty high and all the kids did great considering the skirts and flip-flops a few of them were wearing.

Um, let's see, can you match the siblings?

Rick promised Lexi $5 if she did 50 push-ups so the rest of the kids tried it too

F.I.V.E. . . .finally!!!

There once was a princess named Brynn-cess!!! and she finally turned 5!!!

Since we just got home from family reunion I didn't have time to make a fancy cake. Strawberry Shortcake was a the next best thing I could do.

She and Tavin had a big family party after Jamie's baptism on Saturday but my camera was MIA
