My Sammy boy

Dear Sam,
Where do I start. You are such an great kid. You are 3 1/2 and the coolest kid I know! You are so smart and always have so many questions about everything. It is now getting to the point where daddy and I can't talk about stuff around you because you always ask us what we are talking about.

You just started primary a month ago and you love it! You even gave your first talk and did great. You love music and we think you might have a nack for it. You love to play our piano and you are really good at singing pretty on key!

You are so cute with your sister Scout. You love to make her laugh and she just loves you! Who doesn't though? Every adult thinks you are the cutest sweetest kid! You are so nice to everyone and kind hearted. Even when someone hurts you or hurts your feeling you never want them to get in trouble. You are a very easy going kid with a ton of energy!

You aren't much for art or crafts but you love to play outside and ride your bike or scooter. You love any superhero and love to dress up and pretend to be them.
You love your daddy and would play with him all day long if you could!!!!

You love preschool and know all your letters, colors, and numbers to about 15. You also learn songs really fast!

Sam, you are such a sweet boy and I'm so grateful Heavenly Fsther sent you to us. You have been nothing but a joy to us and will forever be our rainbow baby! I love you sweet boy!

My baby girl

Dear Scout,
I can't believe you are 10 months old! You are the cutest girl and just so happy and smiley. You love everyone and make everyone else smile just by being around.

You love to look at yourself in the mirror or in the camera. It makes you laugh so much! You love to play with your brother Sammy and you get so happy when he gives you attention. You also love to be thrown up or flipped around. I think you are going to be our little daredevil.

You are still tall and thin for your age and all your pants get too short really fast! Oooh and those cheeks are so kissable. You love to give kisses and bite people's toes! You love food and your bottle.

You get super mad when we have to bundle you up or put you in your carseat. You are definitely not shy about letting us know. You are always very loud and love to babble and clap. You can say "yay" and "mama".

Your newest trick is pull yourself up and climb the stairs and you are so proud of yourself when you do it! You also love to pat our backs when we hold you. It's so cute!

Scout, I am so glad I get to be your mom. You bring so much happiness into our family!!

I love you so much my sassy, cute little stink!

We had so much fun playing with cousins while we were there. Debbie invited us over to make frosting Christmas trees and Sam loved it. He is a sweet tooth like me.

While we were there, Sam got to go to preschool with my mom. He even got to sing in their program!

"Santa" even came to the program. Sam knew right away that it was uncle Taylor. It was so funny!

The Friday before Christmas we had the annual Huston adult Christmas party and our sweaters were a hit!!

Even Debbie and Connie dressed up this year and they looked awesome!

Awwww, we are so cute!

My littles all dressed up in their Christmas outfits for church!

Monday before Christmas Paula took our family and Johns family to dinner and then we came back to my parent's house for a white elephant gift exchange. I had brought mylie Cyrus' wrecking ball for mine and grandma got it! It was hilarious!!!

Sam is super into dressing up and got several costumes.

Miss Scouty loved all the wrapping paper!

Maurine made Sam the most awesome Robin Hood costume and he LOVED it!

Christmas this year was awesome. Christmas night we went with my family to see Frozen. I am so grateful we got to spend so much time with our family!

We spent New Years Eve with Debbie and Russ and kids, and Connie. We had a great time. Sam wasn't so sure about all the fireworks but by the end, he loved them!!!

New Year's Day we went with my family to goldfield ghost town. Sam loved it and still likes to dress up like a cowboy. He calls himself John c. Michael. Ha ha!

The weekend before we left we went hiking with some of the Hustons up Silly mountain. It was perfect for the kiddos! Here is Sam and Matthew anxious to start!

We also got to go visit Miles' grave. We hadn't been in a long time. I got a little emotional this time going. I guess I just miss him. I think going this time Sam understood it a lot more and they both were being so cute while we were taking pictures of them. I'm so grateful for my 3 kiddos!

The flight home was awesome. Sam and Scout were both asleep before we even took off!! They were tuckered out from all the fun!!!

I'm so grateful to have such a wonderful family that we got to spend so much time with over the holidays. We had a blast!!!!!!
