Some Pictures of the new Place

The outside of the house was painted this weekend, so here are some new pictures. I thought I would throw in a picture of our pretty pink carpet that is going away this week too (not because of the color, but because of the pet odor). Needless to say, we'll be glad for the change.

Here it is all painted nice.
I even trimmed the bushes.

Here's the back of the house.
Elizabeth is playing with rocks on the deck.

Here's the view from the deck.
The kids love the yard and I get to refresh my
memory on mowing the lawn (it's been a good 10 years)

Fall is here and our cottonwood tree is letting us know.
Abram got a kick out of Alexandria's leaf pile.

The girls after jumping in their handy-work

Well, the verdict is in...we love Omaha. I think it far exceeded our expectations. Our ward is great, the neighborhood is great, and Alexandria is loving her new school. There are just a few minor details to work out and we'll be set.

Happy Birthday Abram

Abram turned one yesterday, and it was quite an event. He knew it was all about him and had a great time.

This one was a little fuzzy but I couldn't resist the face.
He caught on to this part pretty quick.

Trying to figure out where Grandma Brenda's
voice is coming from.

Finally...I get sugar.

So...how messy will I get?

Mmm...I could get used to this.

Another satisfied customer

I think Abram had a successful birthday. Thanks for the all of the well-wishes, cards, presents, etc.

The Many Faces of Mrs. Nezbit

Our dear little Elizabeth has a little goofy streak in her. It's quite hilarious when it comes out because it usually get's everyone laughing pretty quick.

Here she is at 1 already playing for the audience

Now she has a favorite face she likes to pull and it just so happens that we have a few pictures of it.

Smile for the camera

No really, how about a smile

You know it just might stick

Okay...no pictures if you can't make a normal face

Needless to say, Elizabeth brings an extra bit of silliness to the table. It sure helps to ease the stress level.
