Out with the old, In with the new!

It's just funny to me that the last post i did was entitled "Catching Up", because that what i was going to label this one! hahaha oh well! I finally have a second where i could go through all my pictures and all those fun memories and write something down. apparently I haven't updated since September, SO we will have a grand montage of pictures covering all the holidays, our snow days, and some beautiful little girls and sunsets. Living in The Dalles has been wonderful, as usual. We love being here, with all the beautiful scenery and wonderful friends we have made. This has been such a crazy adventure the last few years, but it has certainly been worth it. We had an amazing holiday season in our beautiful new home. We missed Dallin through all of it because he was working Monday-Friday in Vancouver but at least he was here with us on the weekends. Thinking back now I didn't realize how many months we lived out here with out him, October-January. Ahhhh!!! I didn't sleep all that time! hahaha I missed him a lot, its interesting when you partner in crime is gone that long how life just gets a little bleh. I looked forward to every time he came home, it was almost like a holiday. I slept so soundly when he was here, and the girls were just thrilled. I really don't want to go through that again but, I have a feeling that that's not the last time. Okie dokie, Holly turned two while i was away from blogging land. At this point she is almost two and a half. Oh our sweet Holly, she is just the sweetest little thing....until she turns on you, and than its almost like you need one those suits that the guys wear in those self defense classes...hahahaha no shes not that bad, well maybe sometimes. Holly is very animated and has started to tell wonderful short stories. She has the sweetest little voice that raises above any octave i have ever heard. She loves to sing and dance. She loves to play pretend and LOVES her pink bird "birdy". Our little bear is about as cute as a little two year old can get. Its hard to stay mad at her or say "no" when she bats her little eye lashes and flashes her big baby blues. We just love her so much and know she will do great things. Emery is blossoming to say the least. She is very much her own person and has  passion oozing out of her. She is an amazing story teller and always has the most random sayings. The other night we were getting ready for bed and i asked her to go potty and she said, " But mommy! I have no more poop or pee in my butt!" hahahaha Its so hard to be a tough parent and enforce things when you are laughing crazy hard. Today Em asked me for a cheese sandwich for lunch, I told her we didn't have bread and she goes NO! I want a CHHHHEEEEEEEEESE sandwich! Okay I don't understand, we don't have bread! and she goes, " No mommy, I want a cheese sandwich, you take two pieces of cheese and put mayonnaise in between..." I kinda stared at her for second and nicely told her that that didn't sound like a very healthy choice. hahaha! YUCK! Oh she cracks me up! Emery has also started taking gymnastics which is wonderful!!!!She loves it, she has learned so much already and we cant wait to see what her next new trick will be. Emery is also doing preschool this year with all her little girlfriends which has been so fun. I love watching her learn and grow. She is really into volcanoes and bones. She thinks that are so fascinating and is always asking me questions about them. She is very bright and loves to learn new things. Dallin is working hard for the man and bringing home the bacon, we are so proud of all his hard work and cant wait to take some trips with him this summer and have some good old family time. I am doing great also, I have been getting back into backing, trying lots of new things that I can eat that don't effect my food allergies. I have recently decided to take up running, and I also started taking voice lessons! YEAHHHHH! I sang that:-) We are so excited for what this year has to offer and we cant wait to make some more awesome memories. As always the pictures are backwards starting with most recent.
This is Hollys crew. Hahaha "birdy" is the one on the left.
