24 weeks!

How Far Along: 24 weeks

Size of Babies: Ear of corn

Total Weight Gain/Loss: 25 lbs??

Genders: Two girls!!

Movement: Yes and it's still the greatest thing ever! I could see them moving from the outside for the first time this week. It was the craziest thing! I had a plate sitting on my belly and every once in a while it would jump up from their kicks. So funny!

Sleep: Sleeping pretty well despite getting up several times a night to use the restroom.

Maternity Clothes: Yes!

Symptoms: The nausea/vomiting is still here, but may be getting better. Rib/back pain.

Aversions: Nothing specific I can think of.

Cravings: Ice cold water and just food in general. I was watching TV the other night and saw someone eating a hot dog. Suddenly, I had the strongest craving for a hot dog, so my precious husband went out at 9:30pm to pick one up for me. What a man!

What I miss: Not a thing. I've waited too long for this and I'm grateful for everything I'm experiencing.

Best Moment this week: We painted the nursery this week! Chad wanted to paint before our new carpet went down so I went ahead and picked a wall color without having a definite design plan in order. But I love it and can't wait to see it all come together. (Pssst....my new blog look was inspired by the nursery colors!)

Before the new floors went down we took the opportunity to write some scriptures that we've prayed over the girls on the foundation underneath where their beds will be. It was an overwhelming feeling.

What I'm looking forward to: Continuing to work on the nursery details and so much more!

23 weeks!

Well friends, I've gotten behind on my weekly updates again. I'll be honest, taking a weekly picture is the hardest part. It's not often that I'm dressed with make-up on these days ;-) Life is busy around here but we are all doing well! I'll be 24 weeks tomorrow, but I'm going ahead and posting this update late.

How Far Along: 23 weeks

Size of Babies: Green onion

Total Weight Gain/Loss: 25 lbs

Genders: Two girls!!

Movement: Yes and it's still the greatest thing ever! I'm feeling them more throughout the day now, but they still move most in the early morning and late evening. I love to just lay my hand on my belly and feel their kicks. Makes me smile every time!!

Sleep: Sleeping pretty well but I'm pretty achy all over when I wake up.

Maternity Clothes: Yes!

Symptoms: The nausea/vomiting is still here. Leg/foot cramps. Rib/back pain. My belly button is looking stranger by the day. I think it may pop soon.

Aversions: Nothing specific I can think of.

Cravings: Ice cold water and just food in general. Pickles. I made egg salad because I had been craving it and had three sandwiches in one day!

What I miss: Not a thing. I've waited too long for this and I'm grateful for everything I'm experiencing.

Best Moment this week: We saw our sweet girls at our 22 week ultrasound. They look great and are getting so big!! I love to see them moving all around. Also, my niece E got to feel Baby A kick twice - she LOVED it and I loved seeing the excitement on her face...melted my heart. Kinley and Emery are going to love her so much! And, we got to experience our first Mother's of Multiples consignment sale. There was so. much. stuff. But we had a great time and got a few great deals.

What I'm looking forward to: Our house looks like a bomb exploded right now because we are getting new flooring this week. I cannot wait to get everything back in it's place and really get down to business on the nursery. I have so much to do!

Here are some pics from our most recent ultrasound. They were both head up at that time so here are both their little heads.
Precious Baby B. She was much harder to get pictures of because of the way she was positioned. She just might be our stubborn one ;-)
Baby A - I love how her hand is up by her head. Precious girl.
Baby A - would you look at that sweet nose and those sweet lips?! I cannot wait to kiss them!!
I'm still just in awe of them. I still see myself in a mirror and cannot believe I have a baby bump that is growing by the day. I just could not be more thankful for these blessings!!!
