Christmas Day
We had a fun Christmas! The kids were so cute with their stuffed animals!
Traditions to Continue
This year has been especially fun because every day we tried to do something that helped us feel Christmas spirit. Some days we sang, others we did little art projects, and some we just talked about Christ and why we have Christmas. We also tried to have Christmas music on at some point in the day. It was really nice. Two things to remember for next year are 1. I want to exchange homemade gifts and 2. make more Christmas goodies. I loved popcorn and movies on Christmas eve. I loved helping the kids make gingerbread houses too.

All by Herself
Macey started sitting all by herself. She sits up but then her back gets tired after a few minutes and she folds in half and is stuck. She started rolling tummy to back on the 13th. It has been so nice because before she was rolling back to tummy but would get stuck and cry and cry. She is much happier now that she can do these things by herself.

Happy 4th Birthday Easton Bug, SOOO Big!
This year has been so fun watching you grow up. You say the funniest things. You love to quote The Incredibles (do you remember thunderhead…), Ratatouille (What did the customer say…He like the soup!), Kung Fu Panda, Wall-E and many many more (the looks and French accent are the best part). Today he said “Mom, don’t wash your pits in the sacred pool of tears!” It is especially funny because he busts them out at the most opportune times. He is good at calming a stressful moment with funny quotes. He is a total crack up. He is seriously crazy about Thomas the Tank engine and all the other characters. As he opened his birthday presents he would scream the name of each car before I even had read it to him! He knows his Thomas. Funny thing is that we only have one Thomas movie, and we don’t let him watch it much (it isn’t our favorite). He thinks he is soo big. He picks up Macey and brings her to me…not good. He knows a lot of letters and the numbers 1-10. He likes puzzles and playing games as a family. You have recently decided it is okay to pray again. (You went through a stint when you wouldn’t. You little naughty…;P) Love you Sooooooooo much!On Friday, we did his real party. It was fun, a zoo, but fun. We had about 11 kids 4 and under at our house for two hours! They had so much fun. They each decorated a mini gingerbread house. We made chocolate kiss pretzels, Easton blew out the candles on his Cupcake. Ok, funny story, I thought I was going to be all cute and have a fun cupcake arrangement that the kids had decorated for the cake…that was a flop. So instead he got one cupcake with four candles. Everyone else devoured their cupcakes too. We had fun. A very special thanks to the moms who stayed and helped with the frosting and policing the party.

Early Birthday
We did our family birthday for Easton the night before the big day. He was so excited for his presents. He had been begging to see Wall-E and have an ambulance. He also had been asking for Thomas the Train sets and trains. Well, the many people he loves so much came through! He was spoiled rotten. I think the first week he and Skylie watch Wall-E 10-15 times. I should not have let them watch so much, but I really like the movie too, and didn’t mind it. Plus, I got a lot done around the house! Fun. Fun. Fun. It was so funny. When he pulled out the clothes I expected him to toss them to the side but he said "A new outfit!!!" It was awesome!
