Being Goofy & Growing up!

One of our favorite places to go as a family...(okay mostly James and the boys) is the Sportsman's Warehouse in Federal Way, and pretty much everywhere else on the I-5 corridor. Anywho. I've always wanted to get the boys to sit on the elk outside and take a picture. This is the closest Cooper would get to sitting by the elk.

Logan would sit on the elk, only if daddy went too. So it was a chance for us to be a little goofy.
Later on it was some serious business. Since Logan did so good in a bunkbed at the Great Wolf Lodge, I thought it was about time for him to have his own big boy bed. So we got the toddler bed out of storage today and set it up. He was literally growing out of the crib, so this is perfect for him. He's so independent and loves the idea of getting out of bed on his own.
5-22-09- Logan is doing really good with the toddler bed. I was worried that he'd have trouble staying in bed, but am pleased to announce that once he's in bed he actually stays there all night. Unless he needs Mommy or Daddy now he comes in by himself for some loves and we go right back to his bed. I love it!

Mini-Vacation to the Great Wolf Logde!

We just got back from our mini-vacation to the Great Wolf Lodge. It's an outdoor themed hotel/indoor water park! We had so much fun. The boys loved every second of it. The water slides were just half the fun. Our room was decked out like a camp site. The boys had their own "separate" tent with bunkbeds.

Bed time was fun, and after an evening of water slide and swimming they slept so good. We all did in fact! We were able to go with our friends "The Smiths" and the boys played in the pool and moms and dads took turns taking the older boys on the Big slides. My camera weirded out on me so I didn't get any shots of us at the park, but my friend took many of us, and as soon as I get them, I'll post them below.

Bouncy Place Field Trip

We went to the Bouncy Place today for Cooper's field trip and we were able to invite our good friends Jennifer, Nick, William & Hailey. It was so crazy, I didn't really get any good pictures but I did get a video of Logan bouncing with Ms. Deanna.

Cooper really didn't want to sit still for pictures, but really do you blame him...he wanted to have fun. James and I got into the action as well. We had alot of fun. Here are some pictures, like I said they are not the best, but it proves we were there.

Here's a picture of Logan being a goofball in the back seat on the way home. Cooper wanted to ride with Jennifer and Nick wanted to ride with us. It was fun swaping kids for awhile.Once we got home Logan wanted to hold Baby Hailey. What a fun day.

Easter and Egg Hunt # 2

Happy Easter!

This year we spent the day with both our friends and our family. We went to church with Greg & Jen Smith to attend Baby Hailey's blessing. So Cute!Then we went to Grampa & Grama Smith's house for ANOTHER egg hunt. It was fun. This year we had all the kiddos go upstairs while the mommy's and daddy's hid the eggs. Then then kids flew down the stairs and began the hunt.

Cooper did great, he found the golden egg!

Logan kept saying, " I find eggs now, in my basket!" Afterwards we attempted a picture of all the kids. The only time we could get them ALL to look at the camera was for their goofy faces.

After a yummy ham dinner, it was play time. Below is a video of the kids playing simon says with Grampa while the rest were cleaning up the dishes.

Egg Hunt #1

We had our ward Easter Egg Hunt this afternoon at the park. Logan was so excited! This was his first real egg hunt, he was sleeping through last years. He caught on real quick, but wanted Daddy to hold his basket while he grabbed the eggs.

"My eggs, in my basket." Logan says as he holds out his basket.

Night out with Grama Pam and Grampa Dave

Tonight we had fun with Grama & Grampa Dave. We sure have fun with them!

Egg coloring!

This was Logans 1st attempt at egg dying. He wasn't so sure about it, and let mommy help. Cooper was a pro. He only cracked one egg in the cup. It sure was fun!

ZOO Day!!!

On the 2nd day of Spring Break we decided to take a trip to the Zoo with
Grama Pam, Aunty Tia, Lexie and Camyrn. We had alot of fun. The boys loved spending time with their cousins

and especially Grama.

We tried to take pictures, but the kids were scattered this way and that. We did manage to get this picture all together, showing off shark teeth!

By the time we got to the Beluga whale Logan was tired.

But Cooper was still going!!!

Finally at the end of our Zoo visit,
Cooper stopped and relaxed for a couple of minutes.

And Logan got his second wind.

We had a great time at the zoo with our cousins! On our way to the van, we were given a show from 2 peacocks, we were so close we could almost touch them.And yes, Cooper tried.
