Hello, anyone-still-reading this. It looks like the homie and I are heading east for a new job! Well, she has a new job, and I will continue eating, sleeping, and pooping all day, sometimes 3 times a day. Stay tuned for more adventures starting, oh, next month-ish.

I'm a leper!
Actually, I just have a cut or something (my homie missed it because she's a negligent owner but you already knew that—call the Humane Society already, somebody!) that got infected. Since I'll need to treat it with an anti-biotic, the vet had to shave off part of the beard that I've been lovingly growing out for a year! Can you see my sore here?

In case you were wondering, the vet did not lose a finger or a limb while he was shaving my beard. I squirmed a little in the vet tech's arms, but was quiet and good about it. And you know what that means... rewards! The homie's praise is ok (I guess) but a new (and bigger!) Nylabone, a new squeaky toy, and a new bag of treats are way much better! Ok, so it was time to replace/buy new of all of those things, but whatever. I think I earned them.
Beer me a treat!
Even though this vet was a decent homunculus, I really miss my last vet and staff-homies! I never got scared when I went in there (unless a huge needle was being stuck into me or if my eyes were full of burning skunk juice), but I was a little out of sorts here.
BTW, my homie forgot the camera the last 2 times we went for a walk around the neighborhood. See what I put up with? Anyways, she'll get it right someday.

Hitting the deck, plus more nicknames
I forgot to mention that along with all the horrible names ("Monster," "Smelly-smell-smell," etc.) that my homie has a few more other names for me like "Sweetcheeks" which came about when my face fur started to get longer and "Sweety-sweetness."
Anyways, more pictures from our lazy, lazy summer. Here we're hanging out on the deck.
Check out my new furcut (well, from 2 weeks ago, but with a new groomer). She kinda did my fur like a miniature schnauzer which you can tell from how my fur is more red in places. But yeah, my homie wanted to see what it'd be like to get me clipped. Not too bad I hope, but I think handstripping showed off my svelte physique a bit better.

I think we're gonna try to get the neighborhood walk tomorrow on camera. Let's hope the weather's nice again...

Dog park! and nicknames
These are old (late May?), and you might have seen them if you clicked on the link on a picture a few posts ago. The dog park is one ca-razy place! But it's pretty nice, and only a 2-minute drive away. Though I (and the homes) prefer our solitary walks to the ca-raziness.
What you see below is my absolute all-time favorite activity in the dog park: rolling in stink!
It's getting hot though. That's why the homie hasn't taken me to the park much since we took these pictures back in May. If we were to go now, I'd pretty much be doing this all the time (instead of rolling around in stinky-stank) even after my recent furcut:
