Sisters

Ha! I laughed so hard when my sister and I went to go shopping and we both came down the stairs in almost identical boots! We weren't shopping together when we bought them and had no idea the other had similar ones...must be some long distance sisterly ESP.

Everybody get Jazzed!

Mike wasn't about to miss the opportunity to cheer his favorite team on. The Jazz happened to play twice while we were home, against Orlando and L.A.

The best part for all the ladies (me and Heidi), was watching the boys excitement as they 'geared' up in their coordinating attire! Mike and Matt had a great time, and to top it off the Jazz won both games. What a way to spend your holiday. This is Mike's idea of a perfect vacation.

Welcome Home

We've just returned to the FROZEN Midwest from our vacation home to UT...and it really is frozen here in Milwaukee. It snowed quite a bit while we were back in the glorious mountain state, but it still never got as cold as it has been these last two days in Milwaukee.

The trip started out a bit rocky...we always tend to leave right in the middle of a big storm, and this year was no different. We were even going home earlier than normal, go figure. They cancelled our 6 am flight and we were lucky enough to get out by 7:10a with another airline, but of course we missed our connection in Denver. To get us to SLC as soon as possible we got to ride in a PROP PLANE, with propellers and all!!
The view from my window seatI was a little nervous as we were getting ready to take off, but the ride was one of the best I've ever had. As we approached Salt Lake this was our amazing view! Just melts your heart right out! Prop planes tend to fly at a lower altitude, so it was a pretty awesome view for the whole ride.

We had our first experience with Guitar Hero the night we got in...and let me tell you it was SO FUN!!! I never thought I'd like that game, but we were cracking up as we all tried to play. We had so much fun hanging with family, and we miss them already. It's hard to be so far away sometimes.
