Maleah's Baptism

Maleah's baptism was today (June 6th) and my mom flew from Texas to be here. We had many friends and family who attended and Todd baptized her and confirmed her with some of our good friends. It was a very special day and one she and all of us will always remember.

Pictures of Brown children Birthday's

OK, I'm really behind with my blogging. I think pictures say it all though. Josh had a really fun birthday in April with a jumping castle and Maleah just had one in May with a Hawaiian theme. Gabriel also turned twelve in February and received the Priesthood and entered the Youth program at our Church. WOW. They are really getting big!!

RABBIT STEW

Ok, so Gabe and his friend Gabriel talked me into letting them hunt rabbits today. I said, ok but if you get one you have to eat it. Well they went for it, unfortunatly. They got one and skinned it. We looked up the method and luckily a neighbor was around and helped them threw it. I was so grossed out. Got it done but as they took the intestines out they found two babies. Well that totally made them feel bad. Gabriel was like, "Ok I can't look at the babies, take them away."He felt bad. I said, "well isn't hunting glamorous??" We got it done and then I made rabbit stew. So gross. The boys ate every bit. I am not sure if they will do it again. I said any animal you shoot, you eat, so think about it. Todd was gone but came home a little unsure about it all.

Update; Mt Lemon, Holidays

Ok, i"ve been really bad about keeing up on this blog. I want to, but get side tracked. That happens with me. First of all, or Holiday was amazing. We had a great relaxing time. Lots of movies, restraunts and game playing with the children. We had a lot of fun. My parents came for a visit and that was great. They came in from Texas. The kids made out like bandits, of course. I had tried to make it a low key Christmas with little presents. That was a bust. We spoiled them, at our financial expense. I'm sure you can relate. New years was a lot of fun, too. We had our good friend from Californa come. We went to the New Years Celebration put on for the youth. Then a few friends came back for a low key "hang out" til midnight. I wish I had pictures of Christmas day, especially. My mom took a few but I need to get them and post.

We got a two year old adopted Husky. We named him Zion. I posted pics on facebook but willadd some here, too. He is very good looking ( one of my requirments in a dog). My shallow side comes out. ha ha. He has been pretty good but has had some issues. I bore you with all the details but he has ripped up the carpet in the boys room cuz he likes to sleep outside apparently, he plays a little rough with the little ones and takes my socks and underwear outside to play with. Yikes! He has learned to walk good and does good with that. He obeys me when I let him lay in the house and knows it is not play time. I dont' leave him alone. He is a lot of fun.

More pictures later but here are some. Hope all is well for everyone this New Year!

Zion (our new husky dog)

Well it may amaze some of you who know me well but I decided to pursue getting a dog. The only dog I can imagine having is a Husky. I love the way they look. It has been an adventure getting him. We had to go through this whole process. We got him from Arizona Siberian Husky Rescue and had numerous visits before the adoption was final. It was intense and at times I literally had to hold back from laughing because of the process we went through. He is doing good and we are all getting used to having a new dog. He is 2 years old and very pretty. He has blue eyes with one eye with a little brown. The kids love him, especially Gabe and Maleah. Josh does too, but is a little timid. He is very active and it's fun.
