2010

It's been awhile since my last post. I have taken a lot of pictures and had the best of intentions to blog about the fun we have had this past year...however; my days are getting busier and crazier.
The year 2010 has been amazing for me as a women, a friend, a sister, a leader, a wife and most importantly a mother. I absolutely feel that I am living my dream. Being a mother is the greatest gift I have ever been given and love every minute I spend with these beautiful kids God gave me to raise and to call mine. This past February my beautiful baby girl turned 6 years old. Holy moly...how do I have a 6 year old?? Kensley surprises me on a daily basis. She is defiantly the most kind hearted, loving little girl I know. She loves her family and friends dearly. She is currently in the 1st grade and absolutely loves school, everything about it...homework, the bus, eating lunch in the cafeteria, recess, etc. She is feeling more independent and this makes me a little sad. Kensley loves to dance and let me tell you...she is a beautiful dancer. I love to watch her dance. I love witnessing the growth of my baby but at times I feel like I want to freeze time. I have learned to become more patient, time goes by too quickly. Trey turned 3 in August which feels like just yesterday I was holding him as an infant in my arms. Trey brings joy, happiness, laughter, and peace into our home in a way no one else could. I have always said that I don't know of any other kid who loves everything about life and what it has to offer. There is something about having a baby boy that touches my heart in a very special way. I just love my Treybomb even if he is a bit attached, I am sure the day will come that I wish he still was. I am so grateful for my husband and the man he has become. He is such a great example to me and the most amazing father to our children. He is my best friend and I love him dearly. Over the past year I have come to the realization of what I believe is truly the most important things in life. I am truly grateful for the gospel in my life. My testimony has grown more then I ever imaged it could. I am so blessed to have a Heavenly Father who loves me and has provided me with great responsibilities so I can continue to learn and grow into the women I dream to become.

These are a few of my favorites

I LOVE the way these photos of the kids turned out. Stephanie Gardner of Pleasant Grove (GiovannaLou.blogspot.com) took them, what an amazing and talented photographer.

ARRRRR!!! It was a PARRRRRTY!!!

We were invited to go to an awesome party with a bunch of friends and we dressed up like pirates. I looked a lot like Jack Sparrow and Kristen was "Yoho".
We look good don't we?
On our path to victory in a game of "how well do you know your spouse" I missed an answer to one of the questions and had to eat a CREEPY TREAT. Kristen told me it was "Outtie Belly Button". Neadless to say the nasty canned mushrooms almost made me puke.
Jack and YOHO

MJ LIVES!!!

Trey was so excited when we showed him his costume. I still don't think he really knows who MJ was, but he still walks around the house saying, "I'm Michael Jackson, ehe, ow!!!" while grabbing the front of his diaper and pointing in the air. PRICELESS!!!!!
Here he is performing for all the cousins

Playgroup with friends

Kensley and her best friends including Jonah Hubert who she secretly has a crush on...

ADALAIDE HAWKINS, LILY STEVENSEN, BELLE CAHOON, AND KENSLEY.

GIRLS LUNCH!

I just have to say I LOVE MY FRIENDS!!
(Trey, Me, Merrilynne Harrington, Meghan Goodwin, and Jen Atkinson)
A few weeks ago a few friends got together to catch up and enjoy lunch with our good friend Jen. She used to live in the same ward as all of us and not too long ago she and her husband moved to Seattle Washington for Job change and let me tell you WE MISS HER!! It was so good to see you Jen...Come back really soon!!
HALLOWEEN DRESS UP DAY
(Kensley-as princess Belle)
CRAZY SOCK DAY!!
I am SERIOUSLY in love with this little princess of mine. She is my angel! She makes me laugh when I want to cry, she is my big helper when I need her the most, and I think she is the most beautiful. sassiest. most precious little thing in the WORLD!

CrAzY hAiR DaY!!

Last week at Kensley's Elementary school, the kids were in a reading competition for each class grade level. The school made this fun for the kids by having each day be a different dress up day and as you can see one of the days was "crazy hair day". I actually thought that Kensley's hair was really cute and just a little crazy. It turned out crazier the next day when we took all the little buns out. I still loved all the curls though and she did too...enough to wear it to school that day;)

OCTOBER FUN 2009

It has been awhile since I last posted...Life is busy and has been quite crazy with a load of very fun festivities. Here is a brief update but there is defiantly more to come. SOON!!

Gardner Village

Another very fun thing we have done this Halloween season is the WITCHES at GARDNER VILLAGE. My mother-in-law has made it a tradition to take all the grand kids (and their moms of course) to Gardner Village for witches night out. This is a very fun place to visit during the holiday seasons because of the extravagant decorations that are involved. The kids loved seeing all of the FUNNY, SCARY, and CRAZY WITCHES.
