This front tooth wiggler has been driving Jaws nuts.

He does love to creep people out by having his single tooth rest outside his lip, though.

But he just couldn't let it go so he twisted tugged and pulled at it in vain before he went to bed. He decided a quick knock on his bunk bed rail would do the trick and to his disgust, he was right.

A bloody tooth emerged!

Then a couple of days later the bottom tooth just slipped out.

This kid is $2 richer this week!

Thank-you Tooth Fairy!

Solo Memorial Day Ride

It was one of those classic New England mornings- foggy, misty and cool along a rocky coast. I ate it up.

It is sad not to have the gang together, but I am quite enjoying not being a slave to a schedule or a route, even though I pretty much have the same schedule and route.

And I did bump into the Beitlers who enjoy the same stomping grounds.

A Perfectly Civil Way to Spend a Sunday

Yo-yo Ma and art. 

Being a highly cultured family, we seized the opportunity to listen to Yo-ya Ma play his 6 Bach cello suites live while we quietly sat and sketched.

I don't know what was more incredible, the fact that Yo-yo Ma didn't stop playing for 2 hours and 2 minutes and never looked at a single note or that my Toads cheerfully and peacefully created art the entire time.

And I finished my basket for the Curtis' family.

Yo-yo Ma's music is so relaxing and calming. I love it all, I'm now a super-fan.

Our Nightly Chats

Just about every evening Tadpole comes into my room for a nightly chat. 

He always has an agenda. 

He has a very active mind and many aspirations. 

Sometimes he brings a project with him, sometimes he comes with plans for starting a project. He always has plenty to say. His favorite topics are Star Wars and Dungeons and Dragons. I have to admit, I am extremely lacking in these two talking points, but I love to hear what he has to say and what makes him tick.

Nothing Else Matters

I can get them all to come on a bike ride with me in my happy place, and nothing else matters.

Okay, it did involve a "bike bribe"- Hostess cupcakes.

They love it too, especially playing in their old tree.

East Coast Molkky Champ

A perfect night for a Molkky match.

And LC holds his title as East Coast Molkky champion. 

Only West Coast cuz Lizzy can beat this kid.

Abizella is CRUSHING It.

Abizella is loving all of the time to create. 

On her dinner night she made homemade french bread for her pulled pork sandwiches. The bread was dreamy delicious!

She whipped up BAT DRAGON for Jaws.

He was a happy customer!

Then she created a "Jane Austen Era" dress, bonnet, slippers and wrap for her AG doll, as a prototype for making one for herself. She even curled the dolls hair with pins.

She is a pro.
