Christmas pictures
So here are the kids Christmas Eve getting their annual PJ's, this year I got everyone pajama pants, then we all just wore white t-shirts, they looked really cute.
Tyler would have been happy with just this car, his wrench and slinky that he got in his stocking. Every toy he opened, he wanted to get out of the package and play with it right then. It was very cute and he was content.
Kendra has been begging for an IPOD, so Santa got her one, boy was I surprised.
Mike's mom made all the kids new pillow cases, she took Deidra and Tiffany fabric shopping so they could pick out their own fabric and help with the other kids fabric, they had a great time doing this.
These pillows turned out so cute. If you can't tell Deidra picked out the U of U fabric, Tyler got some construction trucks, and Kendra got pink and brown flowers. They all are so cute.
Tyler also got a new quilt, he loves this. (Thanks again Aunt Connie and Grandma)
Tyler also got a Nerf gun set from Santa. Ya better watch out for these two. (The vest 's are funny, they have Velcro on them and when you shoot your gun the dart sticks, they have targets on them and you can earn points. Tyler likes to shoot himself to get the high points)

Merry Christmas
I just wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas. Sorry that it is after 9pm, but i'm just now getting settled for the day. We had a great day with family, we feel very blessed to have family so close. We made it home before the big storm hit, and were even able to get a little cleaning in before getting everyone off to bed. We hope everyone had a great day. I will post pictures soon.

Acting Performances!
This year Tiff and Kendra have been taking acting classes over at Rodgers Theater. Both girls had their performances this past week. It was so fun to watch them, they both did a great job. They are in different classes because of their ages and each class did something different, Tiff's class did different musicals and Kendra's class did a bunch of Christmas songs.
Tiffany was an orphan from Annie, she had alot of parts including some singing, it was awesome, I think this may just be her thing.

Lots of updates
So we had alot going on over the past couple weeks, so I made a few posts to keep everyone up to date.
Breakfast with Santa
Our ward has an annual breakfast with Santa, it's always tons of fun with great food. Normally they have pancakes, eggs, sausage and muffins to eat, this year they changed it up a little and had sent a sign-up around to have some sister's bring egg casserole's, I passed due to the fact that I have no clue what an egg casserole is, but my friend Jen is on the comity, so she called and said that she didn't have enough sign up and asked if I could help (WHAT) OK she's my friend I'll help out, so I found a recipe for French toast Souffle, It was easy to make, it gets done the night before, you just cook it in the morning. We were so excited to taste it, we ended up with 2 tiny bites due to it being the 1st thing to go. Oh well, I'll have to make it again for my family.
Tiff with Santa.
Dance Recital
What not to do.
So ya know how Mike likes to go out to take picture's,( if you don't know that then you can check out his blog). Well he went out on Saturday after it stopped snowing to see if he could get any good shots, and he took my truck, why you ask, I have to think it is because he wanted to go up into the mountains. And this is what happens when you go out in the mud. I know, it's a truck, but I am so picky about my truck being clean that this causes me stress.
He didn't come home with it like this, he was very kind and went and washed it. At least he had fun getting it this dirty.

Stop the Madness
OK, I never thought I would have a vent session on my blog, but here goes.
1 month ago today I woke up sick, I thought OK no biggy, I've been sick hundreds of times, I'll just take my vitamins and I'll be good as new in a few days, Well 1 month later I've still got the cough, crazy I know. Then a few days after Halloween we had some lovely hoodlums from the neighborhood (no we don't live in a bad neighborhood, these punks just think they are funny)decided it was fun to smash our pumpkins and throw 1 at our door, so now we have a nice dent in the door that will need to be replaced if and when we ever move. (nice boys, thanks). Then my cell phone totally died, I had no phone #'s stored to my Sim card so I lost everything, we had a phone that a friend of Mike's gave him when he was having problems with his phone, so I put my Sim card in it, and today the screen is black so I can't see who is calling me, I can get calls but it wont let me make a call, (not good when you have kids at home). My Chistmas shopping is far from done, and that is freaking me out. And now i'm getting some crazy pop up on my lap top saying my yahoo messenger is down for service, ok great I only need to be told once, not every 20 seconds. Ugg, I need a coke and some chocolate.
OK i'm done venting. I'm sure it's all going to be up hill from here right?!

A great man
I was deeply sadden when I turned on the noon news today. I had no idea that Elder Wirthlin had passed away. He was such a great man, I loved to listen to him speak. His last address in the October General Conference was wonderful. Thru that talk I felt I was able to get to know him and his family so much better. I loved how he told the story of his daughter getting in the car with a man she thought was her blind date, when he was really there to pick up a sister to babysit for his family. I loved how he talked about how they would laugh at things instead of getting angry, because everyone knows that never helps anything. I love the advice his mother gave him. "Come what may, and love it" I love this quote, His mother was a wise woman. As I sit and think of things happening in my life I need to take this advice to heart and live it. Life isn't going to be easy at times for anyone. If we all could remember this it may just be a little easier to handle. Farewell to a great man!
