Well, I had all but given up my blog, but I was prompted by (Heather) Toothy, as well as Shemaine to get back into the game. It won't be often, as I am about to begin babysitting my nephew beginning next week so I don't see too much craft time in my future. But, for the time I have I will delight in sharing again!
Last week I started Noahs third scrapbook (still have not finished the first two...a couple pages missing in both). Not to mention I do not
own said book, lol. Nevertheless, I got a start. On Noahs birthday we made Christmas cookies at my moms house. Noah loved every minute and did an amazing job with everything for a 2 year old! I was so proud of him! I told my husband that it was my favorite Christmas cookie making EVER!
For this layout I used the cricut cart, George and Basic Shapes for the numbers and letters. The gingerbread men were from my wonderful Christmas secret sister. I believe they were Joanns essentials, but I could be mistaken.

Today I was able to work on Shemaine's inspiration challenge over on Card Makin Mamas. This is the over the top, fantastic cake that she provided for inspiration. I could go on for DAYS with all of the inspiration from this cake!!!

Here is the card that I created. I originally was going to have some dimensional flowers and vines and such, but realized quickly that I didn't have the supplies for my inspiration. SO, I took a good look at the picture and used the colors and ric rac. These are the first things that jumped out at me. Thank you to Diane for the red ric rac.I used the cakeabella (obtained from one of many swaps) to keep with the cake inspiration. The baubly things are K and Company, also from my Secret Sister. The cake has stardust stickles and the felt flower is from American Craft. Lastly, the paper is the "Travel" pack from Makin Memories.
