Trick or treating in Twin Falls with Sivana & Kaitlin

October was a busy month that went by too quickly! JD has been busy figuring things out, getting into mischief, & cutting his eye teeth. We got 2 kittens that JD has to "help" into the toilet & bath. Afterwards he's SO proud of himself! He loves to take the keys and try to open doors. He has gotten such a personality! He loves playing peek-a-boo and makes silly faces. He's not quite talking yet, but follows directions pretty well. He throws his own diapers away! He's gone to nursary at church & loves it, and so did we! We actually get to listen to the lessons! Natalie has kept busy with the kids she babysits. Battling morning sickness, she does her best to keep up with everything & everyone. The way she's been feeling we're thinking maybe it's going to be a girl, but won't know until early December. Kyle is keeping busy building his Melaleuca business. He's been doing well & has met some great people. For Halloween we were in Twin Falls visiting Great Aunt Karleen & Michelle (Natalie's best friend). JD went trick-or-treating to a few places and loved putting the candy in his bucket (dad ended up eating a lot of it).

JD became obsessed with driving, no riding for him!

Each year in September the Anderson's stay a weekend at the Colter Bay cabins near Jackson Hole, WY. We eat, boat, & play. Grandpa let JD drive the boat once and he was hooked! He couldn't be in the boat & not drive. Aunt Becca gave JD his first haircut outside the cabin's which didn't go over well with JD! He screamed & hollered like no other! Natalie's uncle Larry (Doug's brother) joined us from Florida this year. We had a great time playing on the "beach" and relaxing. It was fun to see JD try to run around with his cousins.

Month of July (and a little of August)

We've been really busy lately, so it's been a while (again) since an update. Kyle's been keeping busy at work, they are working on a double Stake Center up in Rexburg. He's also been busy with Melaleuca and has had sucess with that. Natalie's been keeping insanely busy with babysitting (nothing new!), and keeping up with her garden. Her parents have been in Europe since mid July. They won't be back until the end of August. It's been an adjustment not to be able to call on them at any time! JD had minor surgery on July 27. He was a little sore, but bounced right back with even more energy than before! The hospital volunteers gave him a teddy bear that he has become attached to. JD has mastered walking, going up the stairs, and down the stairs. He has also mastered the art of destruction. He loves to pull everything out of drawers and cupboards, but lately he has started trying to at least put some back. He loves putting on necklaces, shoes, and glasses (but is only successful at the first). He also likes to put blankets and dish towels on his head. When he plays with cars he tries to make the sounds. He is cutting his bottom molars (which is not fun for anyone involved!). He loves to try to put things into other things. Kyle lets him help play Yahtzee by putting the dice back in the cup, but once in a while he tries to eat one so we have to keep an eye on him.

Master of the stairs...

and walking!

He loves to put toys into the holes on

Hello? If you say hello to him, he'll put
a "phone" up to his ear. Does this mean
we talk too much on our phones? :)

Random June Times

It's been a while since I updated.. so here it goes. JD was been a very busy boy: cutting molars and learning how to walk. He's walking a lot more in the last few days. Hopefully next post I'll have pics of it. Everything is a game to him! It's usually cute, but sometimes frustrating! His newest trick is to gag himself and laugh! I don't find it so amusing. Kyle is keeping busy at work and is doing well with Melaleuca. I'm keeping busy babysitting and chasing JD around. For 4th July we sold 250 bags of cotton candy at the parade. We were so tired after that we stayed home that night and were asleep by 10!

Another messy face pic.

JD feels the need to climb on everything he can
He smiles just like Kyle used to when he was litle!
