The Update Coming Soon....

I know our eight month update is now old news. We have been in Charlottesville for 3 1/2 months now and have done a lot in that time. We also, shockingly, took pictures of some of these things. I promise to post them in the next week....or two. Don't remove us from your readers just yet! Tyler turns 6 tomorrow--which I still can't believe--and we're bound to have some good content coming from that. Here's to the upcoming semi-annual blog revival of the Jackson Whole. Stay tuned....

Eight month update

After being called the lamest blog on the internet, we've decided it is time to melt some faces with some scorching Jackson Whole content. Enjoy the last eight months-

November 2009

Tyler, Joel, and Coleman smashing pins at Bowl Over Autism in Orlando

December 2009

Fishing the Guadalupe with Robbie

Christmas morning with Luke. The Christmas Eve combo of toy assembly and a Jersey Shore marathon weren't good to me.

January 2010

Tyler hanging with Mr. Cooper backstage at the Deborah Duncan show

Ashley dominated the Houston half marathon. Special thanks to her sponsor Nike.

Luke and Joel freezing at the Whole Foods carnival

February 2010

Joel dressed up for Go Texan Day

The boys watching the trail riders come into Houston for the rodeo

March 2010

The furious fists of Tyler. So fast that the camera couldn't capture them.

Tyler breaks his first board and earns his first belt in Tae Kwon Do. He already has the face of a killer. They call him the Dimpled Demon.

April 2010

In preparation for our house to go on the market, we sent Buc to the Preisser's house. This random guy that Ashley found on uship.com drove him there. Those barrels in the back of the truck are full of used cooking oil that he used to fuel his F250. Buc smelled like french fries when he arrived in Orlando.

Ashley and I on a reconnaissance mission to Boston

Katie and I at 30 Rock

May 2010

Joel broke his arm jumping on a trampoline

A broken arm didn't stop Joel from going to the zoo's splash park with a trash bag over this cast

June 2010

My rig in Lufkin Texas on our way to Charlottesville Virginia where I will be going to the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia. The place is so incredible that its name is nine words long.

See you in eight months.

Five months of pictures

So the last five months have been incredible. We took pictures of some of it. You will have to mentally picture Ashley teaching spin classes to 360 pound dudes in a warehouse with no AC in the hottest June in Houston history, Scott voluntarily running into a burning building and realizing his childhood dream was too hot for him, and three boys consuming 500 gallons of milk and apple juice in five months.

Here are some of the pictures we took.

The drive thru convenience of Texas beaches.

Roman candles in Little Rock.

LUUUUUUUUUUKKKKKKEEEEEEEEE.

Our post-NFL swimming pool.

Joel's face

95 in September. Time for storage bin spas.

Cougar excitement before FSU visited Provo.

Ashley with some dude from So You Think You Can Dance.

Tyler's graduation from Texana. 2 1/2 years of hard work.
Our greasy faces are radiating with pride.

Tackling Autism's Launch Event

At the beginning of this year, Scott and I started the Tackling Autism Foundation. We were still in the process of organizing everything when we were approached by my brother Adam about having a golf tournament in Orlando. We didn't know if we could pull it off in such a short amount of time. But thanks to him and his group called Fore Charities, we had a successful event with 103 golfers. The tournament was covered by the Orlando Sentinel in this article. Everyone had a great time.

Here are some pics -
Here is Alex and I with our dear friend Molly Dempsey...who happens to be the one who took all these great photos (both at our event and for our beach trip). Thanks Molly, for always being the one with a camera, because I never am! Check out her site...she really does amazing work.

I was excited to have an excuse to go see my family in Florida. While Scott was stuffing envelopes for the tournament, I decided to go visit New Symrna Beach. The kids had a blast.

Evidence -
There is no sign of Luke because he was helping his dad stuff goodie bags. I'm sure he had just as much fun as his brothers.

Beautiful Boys

While Scott and I were on vacation, Scott's sister Katie came from New York to watch the boys. She took some great photos while she was here, something I don't do as often as I should. The boys really miss Aunt Katie and we're so glad she could come to help us out. Here are the pictures for your viewing enjoyment!

Blog Revival

For those of you who know my sis Alex and have checked out her blog, you might know that she is probably the worlds worst blogger (not in content, but consistency). I would be the next worst. In an effort to revive The Preisser Family: Party of Four, Alex changed the layout, and in the process, lost all her fellow blogger addresses. So, click here to help her recreate her friends list, so she can check out your cute and well-updated blogs!
