Fall Break

For Fall Break we went over to Chandler and stayed at my parents' condo.  We did a lot of swimming and visited a few fun places.  We went to an indoor bounce place, called Bounce Jungle,

 the Scottsdale train park,

 and Kokomo's frozen yogurt shop (a family favorite). 

Then, we headed up north to St. John.  We stopped along the way near Payson at the Tonto Natural Bridge.  It was amazing and completely beautiful.  We had a few slips on the wet rocks.  I couldn't sit comfortably for several days but it was a blast!

We went on up to St. John and visited with the Smith's.  It was so good to see Flynt and Amber again.  They are the greatest and I really wish they would have never moved.  They are so much fun to be around!  We also went to Scott's cousin Cody's reception and cousin Tami's new house.  It was a really great time.

Camilla's Baptism

Camilla was baptized on October 9th.  She is such a little angel.  There are times when she will spend the day doing secret services for her family.  She has been known to clean rooms, do meal chores, feed and water chickens, and even change poopy little brothers without being asked.  One time, Lacy was hanging on Claira's keepsake shelf and knocked it down, breaking several of her porcelain dolls and glass dishes.  Claira was heartbroken.  Camilla lovingly offered Claira her favorite doll to replace the ones that had been broken.  She is very sensitive to others and is especially loving to little children.  We are so grateful Camilla is trying to follow the Savior.

Favorite Things of Summer

This summer we got started on some landscaping in the yard.  We hauled in a bunch of dirt and had the back patio poured.  The kids had a blast playing in the piles of dirt.

 Kevin got his 1st haircut!  He is so grown up looking.  I love his short hair.

 This summer we had the Shupe's horse in our pasture.  The kids couldn't wait for dad to come home and take them for a ride on Pepper.

 Brenten loved playing with our new kittens.

 We all loved spending time with the Shupe's and Grandma and Grandpa Frazier at the cabin and getting out of the heat.  We love our family!

Greer Vacation 2010

For summer vacation we headed to Greer, AZ.  Everything was so green and beautiful because of all the rain.  We loved the cabin and had to check out everything.  There were swings, a playhouse, even a bunk house for naughty children!

We borrowed the Judd's kayak and canoe and headed out to the lake.  I took Camilla, Lacy, & Kevin in the kayak.  Kevin didn't like it very much so we headed back to the shore and spent most of our time playing and hiking around.  Scott, Claira, & Brent went out in the canoe and Claira caught a couple of fish!  Scott taught me how to clean them and we had fish tacos for dinner.  Thanks Claira! 

 We spent most of our time playing games and hiking around exploring nature.  The children were fascinated by a few things they found.  It was a peaceful and relaxing vacation.  Everyone had a good time.

June 2010

We started off the summer with a camping trip.  We spent a few days with the Shupe's and Grandma and Grandpa Frazier.  It's always fun at the cabin.  We played games, hiked, and even did a little fishing (okay, so there weren't any fish biting but that seaweed was sure tasty)!  Thanks Camilla.

 For Father's day weekend we headed back over to Safford.  Krista and her boyfriend Kyle, and Kami, and Sandi and PJ and family all flew in.  We had fun taking family pictures and then had to cool off at the pool and bbq.  It was so great to see everyone again. 

 We ended the month with Claira's 10th Birthday.  She had a spa party and got a little pampered.  All the girls got all dressed up and beautiful for her cake and icecream.  She had a great time.  I can't believe she is so old already!
