Big Horn, Wyoming and a Visit to see Santa

We moved to Big Horn, Wyoming on Wednesday, November 25, 2009. The population here is 217. It has been so cold here and snowing off and on. It is a lot different than California. I miss the warm weather and the beaches. Carter asked me the other day if we could go to the beach. I didn't know how to answer that one.

Today, we took the kids to Big Horn Merchantile and they got to have a visit with Santa. I was surprised that Carter wasn't scared of him. He followed him around like his shadow telling him what he wanted for Christmas. Cienna and Caden weren't excited at all to meet him! As for baby Chloe, she slept through the whole visit. We had a great day!

Cienna wasn't real thrilled to sit on Santa's lap-

Carter was actually really brave when it came to sitting on Santa's lap-

Caden didn't want to sit on his lap either- but he loved getting his goody bag of candy!

Sweet little princess Chloe-

On November 18, 2009, baby Chloe was born. She weighed 8 lbs. 3oz. and was 20 inches long. We are so blessed to have another angel in our family. She is truly a little princess and such a sweet baby. Less than 1 month ago, we received a call from Cienna's birthmom, Kimberly asking us if we would adopt this baby she was carrying. We really thought long and hard about this decision and a few weeks later, we told Kimi we would love to adopt Cienna's half sister. What a wonderful blessing- we have a family of 6 now! We are grateful for Kimberly and for her selfless act of love. She is truly an amazing part of our lives. We are grateful for Julie- Caden's birthmom as well as for Jenny- who is Carter's birthmom. What amazing women we have as a part of our family. We couldn't be happier. We love you baby Chloe!
