Narain Karthikeyan, 33 is all set to make a comeback in Formula 1 after a gap of 5 years. Narain has signed a deal with Hispania Racing Team (HRT) for 2011 season. The deal means that Narain will be on the grid for the inaugural Indian Grand Prix from 28th to 30th October 2011. "Back in F1 in 2011. Signed a deal to race for HRT. I've always maintained that my time in F1 was not over & now making good on that promise" Karthikeyan tweeted in his twitter page.

2010 - Year in Review - Top 10 Sports Momemts
Looking back at the year 2010, we could come to a decision that the year has been a controversial one in sports than the other way around. 2010 has also been the year of firsts for many as Spain won their first world cup title, England became T20 Champions for the first time. Here are the top 10 sports moments of the year 2010.
- England defeated Australia in 4th test by an innings and 157 runs which helped them to retain the Ashes Urn for the first time in 24 years.
- Spain continued their Euro 2008 form and went on to win their first ever FIFA World Cup title.
- Sachin Tendulkar became the first cricketer to score double century in One Day Internationals when he remained unbeaten at 200 against Proteas in February.
- Sebastian Vettel became the youngest ever World Champion in F1 and he helped Red Bull Racing winning their Constructors' Championship too.
- 2010 has been a good year for Indian athlets as India finished 2nd in Commonwealth table only behind Australia by winning 38 gold medals. Indians' total medal tally stood at 101.
- An Ugly battle between BCCI and Lalit Modi resulted in later being sacked as IPL Commissioner.
- Indian Badminton star Saina Nehwal reached her career high 2nd rank in the year 2010.
- Spot Fixing scandal that shook the cricketing world. It ultimately resulted in ICC banning 3 Pakistan players Butt, Asif and Amir.
- Controversies that surrounded Commonwealth Games like using child labours, preparation delays, poor ticket sales and attendance, racism allegations etc..
- And yes... The Vuvuzelas and waka wakas that gained lot of attention during 2010 FIFA World Cup.

Karun Chandhok : Second Indian Driver to race in F1
Karun Chandhok has been confirmed as the second driver for Hispania Racing Team alongside Bruno Senna of Brazil. He becomes the second Indian to enter F1 after Narain Karthikeyan who was the first Indian to drive in Formula One in 2005 when he signed for Jordan.The team currently only have one driver signed up, Bruno Senna, the nephew of the late three-time world champion Ayrton Senna. Karun has won two GP2 races in the last three years.

Manor GP to enter F1 as Virgin Racing
The Manor GP Formula One team has been entered for 2010 season as Virgin Racing, according to announcement by FIA. The deal between Manor GP and Virgin is expected to be announced soon. The team has already signed Timo Glock as one of its drivers'. The second seat is yet to be filled.

Mercedes takes over Brawn GP
Mercedes-Benz, the German carmaker has announced on monday that it has taken over 75.1% stake in Brawn GP. The Brawn GP team will be rebranded as Mercedes GP from next season. As a part of deal Dailmer AG, the parent company of Mercedes has given up its 40% stake in McLaren but it will continue to supply engines to McLaren atleast until 2015. The team is yet to announce its drivers' line-up but it is believed that they've signed Nico Rosberg as one of the drivers. 2009 Champion Jenson Button is yet to sign a contract. Rumors are doing rounds that Button is likely to join Lewis Hamilton at McLaren.

Google ordered to pay $500,000 to Rubens Barrichello
Internet Giant Google has been ordered to pay $500,000 in damages to F1 racer Rubens Barrichello for hasting fake online profiles of him on its social networking site Orkut. According to media, there were more than 300 fake profiles under Barrichello's name on Orkut.

Toyota quits F1
The World's largest car maker Toyota Motor Corp. has said that it is pulling out of Formula One due to poor Economic conditions. Toyota has become the third team to leave F1 after Honda motors and BMW. Toyota F1, which made its Formula One debut in 2002 has never won a Grand Prix. With its departure, the sport is left with only 3 manufacturing team- McLaren,Ferrari and Renault.

Barrichello signs with Willams for 2010 season
Rubens Barrichello, the 37 year-old veteran who finished third in 2009 F1 season has signed a deal to drive for Williams F1 team for the 2010 season. Barrichello is the most experienced driver in Formula One history. He has made 284 starts so far. Williams on Monday confirmed that Rubens Barrichello and GP2 champion Nico Hulkenberg as their line up for 2010. Nico Rosberg who drove for Williams from 2006 is leaving the team and he is expected to join Brawn GP.
