I think I like CalTrain a little more each time I ride it.  Catching the bullet really is a time saving treat, and this previously unnoticed enormous mural was a welcome view.

and immediately on the other side of the tracks, check out my happy folks in their new living room!
This place is so cool, I can't wait to spend some more time there!

And....
I pretty much quit running altogether after hurting my knee in the marathon on May 1.  I did some bicycle training and the rode Seattle to Portland, but the bike just isn't much of a cardio workout for me.  I stood by and watched myself turn into a bit a mushy mess.  I can't take it anymore.
I started P90X today.
I'm not bold enough post before photos just yet, perhaps as my wobbly bits get back where they belong, but here we go!
(just these skinny darlings)

Big Daddy had a birthday this weekend!  First we went to a San Jose Giants game, it was awesome!  It felt like a carnival with a little baseball thrown in.  There was a guy selling churros out of a drawer, and a beer batter (2 for 1 beers if he strikes out!), and an air guitar competition, and a headlight smashing contest.  So fun!

And the next day we went for a hike at lovely Castlerock, followed by checking out the folks AWESOME new loft, and dinner at Falafel's Drive-in!  What a day.

Went camping at Big Trees
The boys did some fishing

 The kids did some rafting

Adam did some log jammin'

And I saw some cool big trees

Half Dome!

Road trip dining

Marveling, stretching, and terrified at Nevada Falls

Destination

Obligatory diving board triumph and lizard poses

The permit process, while not decreasing the amount of time it takes to get up and down the cables, drastically decreased the number of people visiting the Dome.

Roaring Nevada Falls

And here's a brief tummy turner
