this & that

The last month has been a wild one.

Just how I like it. As I mentioned in my previous post I am not the best at remembering the camera. So here are a few things we have been up to...at least a few that I was able to capture!

Plenty of swimming with mama at the country club. Did I mention how much I love their french fries?

For some reason he was completely fascinated with his long lost Uncle Brant from Arizona.

Cousin Ali did Bigs' hair. Moments like this made me realize that I really did need to cut his hair. Even if it does make for some great laughs!

I think this was the only picture of me and the little rug rat that trip. Proof that I actually was on that trip...and a farewell pic of the old houseboat. Good times!

Long story short: Michael has been finishing an office for a physical therapist. He needed a therapeutic pool. Only problem was... since the building was already existing you couldn't get equipment in to dig it. And NO ONE wanted to dig it once they saw it. Luckily, they were able to rent out some mini equipment and do it all in one day. Fun huh?

I made Mike take this picture a few weeks ago. It's proof that I actually do make an effort to get to church. It seems like these days I am lucky to get to more than an hour of it.

We found out the Jakester is a bigger fish than we thought.

Last year Mike took this old stand up down to the Lake. It hadn't been running for 13+ years and the boys decided to fix it. Now it runs like a champ...and I am a little embarrassed to admit how much fun I have on it. Who knew?

On the 13th these sexy little things turned the big 25. The hubs bought me a new lens. Just checking it out.

Jake saw his cousins doing this earlier (with clothes on of course) and he just had to check it out for himself.

We love a good boat ride.

Hopefully I will continue to get better at snapping pics.
