Happy Tuesday!! It is finally time for the Some Odd Girl Hol-ODD-day Blog Hop!! You should have arrived here from Zarah's amazing blog.

Our hope is to inspire you this hol-odd-day season. So for my project I used a some new, some old and, of course, a Some Odd Girl image. I made a gift card holder using Santa:

My new is the Anna Griffith "noel" border, my old  is my ink, distresser, paper, cardstock & ribbon from my stash, and my Some Odd Girl image is Santa colored with pencils. Don't you love gift cards!!

Here is the list of blogs on the Hol-odd-day Hop:
15.Asa

25. Kristy

Be sure to leave a comment as one lucky commenter will win the Santa image I used on my project!! All comments must be submitted by 6pm EST on December 1st to be eligible to win!! Each of the Odd Girls is giving away an image, winners will be announced on our blogs on December 2nd. Winner, Challenges and 30% off

I have had a CRAZY few weeks!! At the end of October, I started a seasonal job working at a wonderful company, there was lots to learn (and there still is) but it's a good fit for me. I have spent the last three weeks in training working from 32-40 hours a week. Boy, has it thrown my world out of whack and my poor blog has been neglected... But better late than never, right? Especially when it comes to blog candy!! Without further adieu...We put everyone's names into a hat and Bradley drew the winner:

 And the winner is...

Lindy!! Lindy, email me your address so I can send your goodies out to you!! My email is voice (at)tanyamsmith.com.

There have also been two challenges that I have not posted about: Lexi's current challenge is Anything Goes. I used Lexi's Bauble Spiral Christmas Tree & my shrink paper to make these fun earrings for that challenge:

And Some Odd Girl posted a new challenge too!! This challenge was to use an image or images to make your own background. I made this birthday card using Some Odd Girl's "Happy Birthday" sentiment:

And last but not least, for those of you in the US, needing to get started on your Holiday shopping: Give and Get is Here! Follow the link to get a coupon and "Enjoy 30% off from November 11-14 at Gap, Banana Republic and Old Navy plus we'll make a 5% donation to a non-profit."

Have a great weekend!!

The Spot GPS Satellite Messenger

This post brought to you by SPOT. All opinions are 100% mine.
We do our fair share of camping…between Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts and Cub Scouts, our tents and sleeping bag get used quite a bit. Not to mention this year camping was our summer vacation destination as well. When we’re camping, one of my biggest concerns is: What if something happens? How would we get help if we needed it? So, I talk to my kids and we go through different scenarios of what to do... to be prepared. In most, if not all of our scenarios, our “call” for help is made by cell phone. But cell phone reception is not always reliable, which is what makes the SPOT Satellite GPS messenger SPOT SA    so appealing. The SPOT uses 100% satellite technology, and works virtually anywhere in the world, even where cell phones don’t – and it’s easy to use, you just push a button and your SOS is transmitted, along with your location.
Right now, they have a great offer- just in time for the holidays- if you buy the SPOT Satellite GPS MessengerSPOT SA   you receive a bonus adventure kit worth $50. The kit includes a coupon for 15% off Basic Service, flotation case for SPOT, micro LED flashlight, safety tips bandana, lanyard, safety whistle and a carabineer keychain.
There is no doubt in my mind that the SPOT Satellite GPS MessengerSPOT SA    is something we all should have. You can find out more about the SPOT right here.
