Summer Days
The other day Sarah and Kate were playing at a their friend Alicia's house, and they decided to get into the little pool in the backyard. They didn't have their swimsuits with them, so they were going to borrow Alicia's. Alicia gave them a 2 piece swimsuit and they told her they couldn't wear it. They told her they could only wear swimsuits that cover their tummy's. So Alicia found a 1 piece swimsuit for them. When I came to pick up Sarah and Kate, Alicia's dad told me this story. I am so proud of them! They know our standards about being modest and follow them. I grew up with this rule and at times hated it. I thought my mom just didn't understand. Now I understand what she was teaching me back then. And now I am grateful for the standards she enforced as I see the importance for them and want my girls to grow up being modest.
Tyler is now sitting up and rolling over. Oh, how I love this phase! It seems like things get a little easier once they hit 6 months. Tyler is such a sweet baby and so pleasant. He is starting to fall into a routine and even sleep a little more! He is playing with toys and seems so interesed in everything around him. He brings such a sweet spirit into our home. Sarah and Kate are really good about helping me with him too.

My Little Katie!
This is how Kate sleeps EVERY night! Kate shares a room with Tyler, and she does not like it when he cries! I don't even let him cry, but as soon as he wakes up and calls for me, Kate assumes this position! We are moving to a new home in a few weeks and Kate will have her own room. Hopefully that will help her sleep a little more peacefully. We are really excited about having more room and a REAL house to live in. However, we have just begun to pack and are already DREADING the move. But it will be worth it. We have two years left in the area.

Our annual trip to pick STRAWBERRIES!
I asked Sarah what I should write about picking strawberries and she said, "My mom got lost going there!" It is true. The biggest mistake I made when we got our Honda Pilot was not getting GPS in it. I can't ever find my way around here. And you just can't see through or around all the TREES! I am always going the wrong way or lost. The kids are always asking, "Are we going the right way now ?" I think Steve is going to be getting a portable GPS for Father's Day, although he is not the one who needs it! The strawberries were soooo YUMMY. I say were because we picked them on Friday and the strawberries are already gone- 12 lbs! I was planning to make some freezer jam with some of the strawberries, but Steve said they tasted to good to do that. I think I will be going back on Friday for some more! There is nothing like FRESH FRUIT!

Sarah's Preschool Graduation!
Sarah finished preschool last week. It was a great preschool. I love all the people that go there and especially all the teachers and staff. I'm kind of sad that this stage of life is over for Sarah, but she can hardly wait for KINDERGARTEN!
