The sanctuary of St Birinus Church

Welcome

Our beautiful church, described by Bishop Ullathorne as “a perfect gem”, was built in 1849 and has served the Catholic community of Dorchester on Thames ever since — a parish whose history reaches back to the coming of St Birinus from Rome in AD 634.

Holy Mass is celebrated every day of the week, in English and in Latin, and everyone is very welcome. See our Mass and confession times, or read more about our church and its history.
