Lucky Seven

Happy 7th Birthday Thayden!! We had a great three day weekend celebrating Thayden’s birthday. He turned seven on September 14th. Trevin, Traeson, and I were able to start the celebration off on Friday by going to eat lunch with Thayden at school and setting on the birthday table with him. We ended our day by going to the pet store and getting him a fun surprise…a lizard named Leo. Anyone that knows Thayden knows he loves anything bug or reptile. So he loves the little critter!! Saturday he had a Speed Racer friend birthday party with twelve of his friends. He wanted to celebrate with his friends at Jumpin Jack’s. We took Grandma Suzie, Aunt T.T., and Dad to help with the chaos. Thanks guys! All the kids played until their hearts desire. Wow that was fun!! We ended the festivities on Sunday with a family birthday party which included a 600 ft. rocket launch and to die for homemade pizza. Special thanks to Uncle Jason and Aunt April for the great gift and to Daddy Bill for making the pizza! Thayden loved it. Boy, was it a long weekend full of laughs and endless smiles! There isn’t a better time then when you get to celebrate your child’s life. Seven amazing years! I am so thankful to the Lord for making me a mother seven years ago which seems like yesterday. I wish I could bottle up the innocence Thayden has and how he embraces life. He is so curious for what comes next and is ready to take on the world. He is the heart of our home and such a sweetheart. There is never a dull moment when it comes to him. Happy Happy Birthday 7th Birthday Thayden! We love you!! The Birthday Boy!

The big 10 months!

Oh, his eyes!! Such a happy little guy

Traeson is a piece of heaven!
His favorite activity...stairs
Getting the hang of it!
What can I get into next?

Traeson is busy, busy. I always ask Aaron if our other boys were this busy. His answer is always yes. Traeson has a smile and laugh that can do wonders for my heart. Luckily I am blessed with two older children to keep him on track. He just wants to be as big them. Wow! Does he keep me on my toes. He loves the stairs and just giggles his way up them. He will stand and walk on anything he can. He is going to be walking any minute. He is my little eater. Loves to eat anything he can. It helps that Thayden and Trevin are always giving him a taste of theirs. Traeson loves the tub. He laughs and laughs the whole time he is bathing. He can't get enough. He loves to play peek-a-boo with the curtain while Aaron is in the shower. His favorite toy is the phone. He loves to play with the phone buttons and was even able to redial Big Grandma to talk to her the other day. He is a social butterfly with others. He is a great sleeper and likes his naps. I can't think of Traeson without just smiling. He is so fun and just the sweetest baby I could ask for. He is so easy going and low maintenance. His brothers just adore him and can't get enough of his smile! They are always making him laugh. I can't imagine our home and my life without Traeson. His big blue eyes are magic. We are so blessed and thankful for Traeson!

Preschool...Hurray!

No matter how sad Mom might be...Trevin started his second year of preschool. Hurray for him! He loves school. There was a week and a half that Thayden started before him. Trevin would wake up every morning and ask, "is it my turn to go to school?" He was so sad when it wasn't. He and I played school almost everyday just waiting for his big day to come. With the count down over, the day finally came. When he got to preschool he never looked back. He was so excited! Trevin wanted homemade pancakes and chocolate milk for breakfast. He couldn't wait to wear his new batman underwear. Trevin is so creative and artistic. He drew me a picture the other day that melted my heart. It was of me and him holding hands with hearts around us and our names on the bottom. I cherish all the hearts that he draws then takes the time to cut out for me. It seems that Trevin has grown up so fast being the middle child. Probably always trying to be as big as Thayden. He is a "mommy's boy".. my little sweetheart. I know the time will come when he thinks that I am his world will end. Which kills me to even say. Now he is off to preschool to take on the world. He is going to love every minute! I feel thankful that he is sure of himself to not be scared. He loves to try new things and is confident in his abilities! Preschool is great and so fun. Trevin is lucky enough to go to two different preschools...one we pay for and the other that the elementary school offers. Trevin's favorite things about his first week at school were learning the new frog song, writing the letter Aa, having yummy snacks, meeting a new friend named Kayson, seeing his name on the wall and backpack hanger, reading the three little pigs story, going outside for recess at their own park, and having such wonderful teachers! How exciting! Trevin, we love you and your amazing heart. Have so much fun at school. You are such a big boy!

First Grade

It has been exciting times in our house with the start of school. Thayden started first grade. He is so excited to get to eat lunch at school like a big kid. He couldn't wait until it started which meant he got to wear his new Hulk shoes and shirt. He loves to have a schedule of his day especially when he gets to play with friends. He wanted grits and bacon for his special breakfast and couldn't get ready fast enough. My heart was so proud of Thayden's confidence in life that he just walked into class with no hesitation. Ready to conquer the world! First grade is a lot harder for Mom than Thayden. The whole day is so hard but we will get used to it. He told me we will just have to remember each other in our hearts and think of one another throughout the day. Isn't he so sweet!! Maybe that is why I cried for three days...We make sure to kiss each other's hand before he leaves like in one of our favorite books. The best part of first grade to Thayden is that he gets THREE recesses! He has made new friends, already got to be the "king of the day", and had his first spelling test! So impressed! Thayden, we are so excited and proud of you! You are an amazing little boy with endless possibilities.
Thank you for bringing so much love and laughter to our home.
We know you will do the same at school!
Always thinking of you! Mom
