Trick Or Treat

I hope you all had a fantastic Halloween. Ours was great. Mia dressed up as Minnie Mouse and caught on to Trick or Treating pretty quick. She made sure to go to every single house, ring the doorbell and say "Happy Halloween, Trick or Treat." The person at the door would then proceed to let her pick "one" piece of candy out of the candy bowl. Mia just started grabbing handfuls. I had to stop her each time. Good thing she is so darn cute! We went up to Great Grandma Jones' where she dresses up as a witch and is famous for her witch cackle. We had taco soup for dinner and enjoyed hanging out with family. The hubby and I were lame this year and didn't dress up. Oh well, as long as Mia had the time of her life, right?

Mia as Minnie Mouse- I think the Make-up totally makes the costume that much better!

Her face was priceless. What a great holiday!!!

24th on the 20th

Started out my day with my cute niece, playing in a blow up pool. As shown above we had a blast. After playing in the water, getting out and back into our swimsuits twice, we got ready for the Bountiful parade. This year it was PACKED! I'm going to go out on a limb and say that was due to a "float" entrance of 2,000+ young men. It was pretty amazing to see that many kids walking down main street in Bountiful. It was a pretty cool sight to see. (I would upload the personal video we took of the march but there were some sound technical difficulties.) After the parade we headed back to grandmas house to enjoy paces popsicles (a staple in bountiful) and enjoyed a little bit more of each others company. Later in the night it was Bountifuls fireworks, dare I say they are better than eaglewoods every year. It was a 30 minute show to be exact and the finale was top notch,  Pretty Sweet. It was a great 20th to celebrate the 24th. Happy Utah Day!

Tonight I saw these lovely Christmas lights.
I love Christmas light, so tonight definitely won't be the last time I go wandering through the streets to see them this holiday season. notice: the title is a line from one of Justin Biebers Christmas songs, can you guess which song it came from???

I was busy

If you are wondering why I am blogging so late today, well worry no longer. I was busy indulging in this holiday milkshake. Peppermint Chocolate Chip Milkshake from my most favorite Chick-Fil-A. It was a party in my mouth, peppermint pieces swirled into the peppermint ice cream. To Die For.
All you have to do is run along to your nearest Chick-Fil-A and try it out for yourself. And if you aren't a peppermint fan you must be crazy just try their Oreo Milkshake, you won't be disappointed.

Much Love,

nicole
