Christmas 2011

Our Christmas tree & stockings.

Ornaments that Amir made & we gave them out for Christmas gifts. Five finger snowmen. Amir is really great about doing stuff like this. He has LOTS of patience. Especially when there is paint involved. I think we'll do something like this again next year.

On Christmas Eve we went to Rich's sisters house for dinner. Gifts were exchanged & they have a Christmas program. Amir played a little song on the piano. (one he wrote himself.) I wish I had gotten my camera out for that but I didn't want to miss it running to get it.

Christmas Day:

Opening his gifts. :) He got up at 3am yelling "MOM! Santa left presents under my tree!" Luckily, he was able to go back to sleep pretty quick after I told him it wasn't time to open presents yet.

His stocking. It's almost as big as he is!

After Santa put out all the presents he realized that he didn't have anything for mom and dad. Not even stocking stuffers. HA! (The joys of being pregnant, forgetful & just plain tired!)

After we opened presents at our house we went to Gram's house. We ate dinner and opened presents. Amir got $10 (in $1's) from gram & a bunch of toys from Bebe & Nehneh.

We also got to talk to Sami Christmas morning. Which was nice. It was great to see his face again.

December Preschool

December - Christmas Time!

A milk and cookies paper magnet & a gingerbread man on a stick!

Christmas tree ornament (before I cut it out for him)

Santa Claus came to their school! It was a surprise. He was very happy and the whole way home said how much he loves Santa. He got the book, The Night Before Christmas from him. ;)

<-- Snow coat. That white stuff is really soft!

-->
"Gingerbread" ornament. (its the cinnamon mixture that smells really good, not really gingerbread) Amir is so cute he picked out matching buttons and ribbon.

Reindeer.  He came out of school with a red nose. He's so quick to take things off that I rarely get a picture!!

A gift for me. A little book he made.

2011 Goals

Well today I decided to go back and look at the goals that I set myself for the year... Yes I did have to actually go back in my blog and figure out what they were... So, what were they?

So how did I do? Lets break it down.

First, lose more weight. Fail. I got knocked up & so I actually gained 25 lbs. Yay me.

Second, gym. I did SO well with this goal. I worked out (on and off, not daily) up until my 3rd trimester. Which is pretty awesome. Now my pelvis hurts so bad I can barely sit in front of this computer to blog!

Third, diet. Another fail. (Knocked up)

Fourth, THE BASEMENT!!! We did REALLY REALLY well with this goal. We got our bedroom almost finished, everything but the doors, closet doors and the floor. And almost all the drywall & framing is done everywhere else. Whew!
Rich has been working on the wiring this week and after that he can finish the remaining drywall.

Fifth, potty trained child. This has been rough. I mean, I do have a potty trained child but the accidents kill me. Yesterday just so happened to be one of the worst days for accidents ever. So maybe I should wait until I'm less angry about it to talk about it....

There you have it. I guess I did pretty good. This next year will be better because this baby will be out of my body and I can get back to business. Only 4 weeks left to my due date! WOO!

Festival of Tree's

I decorated another tree this year for the Festival of Tree's. (see picture above) it was a 6.5ft white tree. I went really simple since when it was time to take it in I was 32 weeks pregnant. Next time I'm gonna just do a small tree again. They are WAY easier. :)

These are a couple others that were my favorite. Spongebob & Lego  are the ones that Amir really loved. He also saw a candy one that he liked a lot. They were both small tree's.
This reminded me of the Grinch for some reason. This one was my all time favorite this year!

Just a few...

Photo's from our lives.... Enjoy.

Richard fixing Amir's hair for before my family got to our house for Thanksgiving (the Saturday after)

The same Saturday. We got our tree up earlier in the week and Amir loves it.

Snuggling mama for a picture. <3 love it!

This is a photo he took himself of himself. I love that scowl!

Pyro baby. He was helping dad with the leaves in our backyard. They burned some of them. Amir had a good time.

Sunday of Amir's cousins mission farewell. Um... He likes the tree. And he said this was his "mad-happy" face. LOL

November Preschool

At school they talked about sleeping, dreaming and bedtime. All the kids got to take something special that they sleep with. Amir took his Bumble Bee pillow pet.

Shooting stars & 7's

His name decorated with stars & a glow in the dark moon. (there is a secret message on the moon, but I cant figure out what it is. haha)

Sheep mask, he was too grumpy to wear it for a picture.

A feather for "Ted  the Turkey".

Menu Manners... I love the little face he drew on the Chef!

Turkey Card!

He did a really funny little dance for the camera. Unfortunately I only had my phone to take pictures with so its a little blurry!!
I was November's room mom so I got to help the kids with their turkey shirts and the turkey cards. They also made some really cute cookie turkeys that I didn't get a picture of. They were super cute!

Turkey Dance Video, LOVE it!
(Amir is the one closest to the camera, in case you cant tell. :) )

Thanksgiving....

Came & went.

The food was GREAT! I was soo looking forward to it.
We had dinner at Rich's sisters house and then hung around his parents house for a while.  Pregnant Thanksgiving was a total success.
This Saturday we will be doing it all over again with my family.

Oh and I'm 32 weeks! Here's a belly photo from today.

Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween!

Amir dressed up as Iron Man this year.
He even got an Iron Man 2 trick or treat bag.
We went trick or treating twice. Once at Rich's work, he loved going to daddy's work to get candy! The pictures above are right before we went there.

Then we went trick or treating at Grandma's house. He had a blast. It was so much fun to take him.

Rich and I just had skeleton t-shirts. Mine had a skeleton baby on the belly. I may post a picture of that on a later date.

Is That His Bum?!

A few days ago after my ultrasound appointment for this new baby Amir and I were walking out to the parking lot of the hospital to our car. It was one of the busiest times of the day so people were following me in their cars to see where I was parked to get my spot after I left. Well, Amir decided right when we got back to our car that he needed to go to the bathroom again (we had just gone 20 minutes before) so before I even got my keys out of my purse to get into the car he dropped his pants right there next to the car (luckily he was facing me and no, I didn't get peed on. Also lucky) I looked up to see two different cars watching because they were both waiting to see who could get the spot first. I was completely shocked but then I couldn't help but laugh because they got an eyeful of cute 4 year old bum!
