SOFTBALL

This year I played on the Jackson High School Junior Varsity Team. It was a lot of fun and i got a lot of playing time in. I started at second base most of the time and got a few tries at third. I have officially decided and shown that I never have and never will be a third baseman. :)

My team went undefeated this year. The closest game being 9-2. We had some amazing pitchers on the team and an all around great defense and offense. I got 2 homeruns this year. One because there wasn't a fence, but it still went over their head... and another that was a legit homerun. Softball season is over now and i miss it a ton. I have no idea what to do with all my free time. Wait.. what free time?

WINTER BREAK

Okay so i haven't written in forever but you know, being a high schooler i barely have time to sleep let alone blog. So the high lights of this winter break were all the snow, my birthday, and chirstmas. This year we got a foot of snow!!! Mollie, Sam, and I had a blast sledding a ton and building an igloo in the backyard. Then on December 23rd I turned 15. We went and saw Bolt at the movies, went to lunch at La Palmera, and then had cake and presents at home. I don't feel way older, but I love being 15. Although I'm not exactly sure if my parents like the teenage attitude that comes with it :) haha... then we had a fun christmas and all three of us kids got a pretty good loot. Now we are all one week back into the old grind of seminary, school, work, and homework. Needless to say I could do with out it, and FINALS are NEXT WEEK!!! holy cow!!! Twilight

A bunch of my friends from school went with our moms to go see Twilight. It was a lot of fun and we got great seats after waiting in line for an hour. I loved the movie. GO JACOB!!! wasn't he amazing??? I even got the new Team Jacob shirt before the movie. Thanks mom for buying the tickets!!!

DRIVING!!!

Today was one of the rare saturday mornings where we weren't that busy. Sooo my dad decided to take me driving in the church parking lot. I learned that you never two foot drive, don't watch you feet (you have to watch the road) :):):) Also that you run into problems when you don't turn hard enough. And i even tried to park. Mollie was actually a very goot bystander in the back seat. It was a ton of fun. I can't wait for drivers ed, then my permit, and then a license! THANKS DAD!!!

Band

I have been in band since fifth grade and i love it. If it was possible i would play every instrument I could. I play clarinet, all the saxaphones, some percussion, piano, and i want to learn the trumpet next. This year I was put in Symphonic Band, which is basicly a step up from normal freshman band. We are mixed in with all upper classmen. It's a lot of fun and I love playing. This was our first concert a few weeks ago. Coming up in December we have our Christmas Festival Concert and we are working on 1812 Overture by Tchaicosky( i think that's how it's spelled :) It's super hard but totally fun!!!

Chuck E. Cheeses

Hey moms, remember taking your kids to the crazy chuck e cheeses and probably dreading spending all that money for them to get 50 cents worth of prizes? We went to Jorelle's little boy Nathans, 4 birthday party at Chuck e cheeses... and I loved it!!! After a few pushes me and sam were up and ancing with the little kids and chuckie... it was rather funny. Sam and i enjoyed all the game and set the 3 top high scores on the basketball game and even beat our parents. I love pretending to be a little kid again :):):)

Jackson High school swim team!!!

This year I decided to join the high school swim team. The first week was exhausting but I love it now. It's funny when people talk about how hard swimming is i start laughing. I swim 100 back, 50 back in the 200 medley relay, 50 free, and 50 free in the 200 medley relay.

My team has gone undeafeted this year beating most teams by 30 to 40 points. State is coming up this week and we are predicted to win. GO JHS!!!
