Shabby Chic Altered Notebook ~ by Kimi

Hello everyone, today I am back to share with you all one of my last projects from the Tea Break Collection by Kaisercraft.  This paper has been great to work with and I am a little sad that is just about all gone. I have a few scraps left and that is it.

This note pad or I should say notebook, was one that I picked up at my local cheap shop.  They were going extra cheap so I grabbed quite a few.  I think these will make a great personal gift giving idea for that hard to buy for friend or family member.

I have used papers from the 6.5" paper pad to cover the front and some of the pretty stickers from the sticker sheet.

I have also used some of the cutouts from the Jam Drop and Kingston sheets and added them to the inside front cover and first page.

I have also covered the pen with some scraps.

I decorated the back cover inside and out

I have cut out some letters using the Tim Holtz ~ Typeset ~ Alterations die and layered them on some more scraps from the papers.  I then coated this in some glossy accents

The gorgeous flower that adorns the front cover is from my scrapping bestie Tash and the bling is from my stash.

Sorry guys no real tutorial or how to this time round and I only have the before and after pics.  I did gently prise the o~wires apart and remove the covers first.  I then re-punched the holes using my crop-a-dile.

Vintage Travel Thursday Class

Have fun creating a layout using versatile papers from the "Pack your Bags"  range by Little Yellow Bicycle along with cuttlebug , tearing and embossing techniques.  This layout is great for your Travel photos as well as boy photos and can easily be adapted to a girl layout with the addition of some flowers from the shop.  Please bring your basic kit including your cutting mat, fine cutting tool and some dimensional dots. This layout includes two  six by four  photos one of which will be cut into an oval shape.

Past Memories Layout by Adrienne

Adrienne has been busy creating this gorgeous  vintage layout using the lovely new papers from G.C.D Studios.

The lovely soft blues and browns showcase her photos perfectly and add a sophisticated look to her layout.

The Ella Blue Collection incorporates  a range of floral, stripe and frame papers with hints of flock and laquer on the paper.
